If you like one, you'll like all three.

There is most certainly a "type" of male host QVC wants to hire now.

With the women, some are really bad/annoying, but at least the personalities are pretty distinct from one another.

QVC runs tons of focus groups to test how loyal/devoted viewers are to certain hosts.  Of course, David scores off-the-charts.  None of the three I mentioned have high scores in that area.  They're literally interchangable.   Alberti does well, and so does Rick..

These aren't published.

For whatever reason, Justin is QVC's new "golden boy" and the other hosts know it.  I have heard over and over again other hosts say what a great guy Justin is and what a great host he is, desperately trying to curry favor.  Rick has done this multiple times, probably because he knows if a male host is going to be let go, it's 100% going to be him.  

I always thought Craig Smith was a better vendor for electronics and should have been hired over Justin if they wanted a host with that particular knowledge base.

What makes you think Craig Smith would even want to be a host?  Being a host is very different and requires a lot of on air time which perhaps Craig isn't interested in.
