Stainless Steel Sink Cleaning

Good morning.  My stainless steel kitchen sink has oxidized and I want to get it back to being beautiful and shiny.  I tried a cleaner made for this by Weiman ( stainless steel sink cleaner & polish) but it has very little to help.  I seem to remember seeing a "clay" cleaner for this very use among others on the Q.  Anyone have any success with this problem?  What did you use?  Thanks.

I use bartenders friend but I do have the clay type stuff--does it work---it might but not anything to rave about. It gets the sink clean. My SS sink never is shiny--I'm in an apartment so nothing here is super high quality. Maybe using baking soda would work?.

I use the pop up sheets sold at grocery stores. They are great for all stainless steel.

I use the biocleaner that qvc sells, it works really well.  I dont have any oxydation but it cleans very well.  Its a clay in a jar and comes with a sponge.

Use a cleaner called 'Barkeepers Friend', it's a very fine type of cleanser, that polishes SS so nice!

@Fressa  & @spumoni99 This is what we use too.  We also use it on the range, inside & outside of the microwave, the bathroom sink, tub, and shower.  It's a great cleaner.

Bartenders Friend. It also keeps stainless steel pots and pans shiny.

Re: Stainless Steel Sink Cleaning

Barkeeper's Friend, or the Pink Stuff should get it clean.  However, the product you mentioned, Weiman's Stainless Steel Sink Cleaner, will keep it looking good after you get it back into shape.  There is something in it that repels yucky stuff for a while after you apply it.  It will leave the sink gleaming and resistant to spots.
