Do plastic containers really need a spokesperson?

you know what?

everything on Q needs a brand rep today, and it's not necessary

I am going to be completely vunerable and transparent and admit i do find inspiration for utilization or encouragement **sometimes** from brand ambassadors that i had not thought of for how i might  use, place or wear somthing.

For instance in my hurricane kit, to put my important documents, cell  and my wallet in Lock & Lock. Or turning it over for cake cover or  getting in the habit of flipping the top (always) for microwaving. I may not of thought to use for nonfood items in my garage. Seriously i was using shoeboxes. Inspiration is not a bad thing as i can sometimes be a linear thinker.

Edited to add that i cannot imagine how boring it would be to watch a host alone on a show for an hour or 4. ZZZZ

understood, but if they cut out all the extra stuff that takes place, could possilbey show more products on air

Re: So who is the new Lock and Lock spokesperson????

I caught the part of David's show last night introducing her; had no clue that the "new" lady was leaving. I didn't recognize her although they said she'd been around for 20 years. You know what? The old rep saying that a bazillion times in a show didn't really bother me; if you listen, there are lots of other reps who do the same. The new rep kept stating she was a "busy mom", that term bothers me because I think all moms are busy.

Beside the fact she uses that phrase at least 40 times in one presentation, of one specific item, it's the tone of her voice that grates on my nerves.  Same as the rep for David's Cookies!  Can't watch her.

@Gman3   No, the majority of the brands don't need a spokesperson.  Just another person added to an already crowded set.

@Carolina925 You know what?  It did bother me.  So much so that I started to count how many times she said it and had my husband watch too, so he could be as astounded as I was.  I can not believe that either no one tried to correct her, or it was pointed out and she could not help herself.  I have never heard another rep repeat any phrase as often as she did.  As far as "busy Mom," I hate that too.  She is a "working Mom,"  All Moms are working moms, whether they have a job outside or inside the house.  And women who don't have kids can still be very busy.

ITA ....   It's beyond stupid, IMO.  What mom ISN'T busy?  What woman isn't busy?

I'm sure the new rep will do well just like the others that  came before her.
