Last week I changed the date on an AD on a Philosophy kit so that it wouldn't be delivered while I was out of town.

I just went in and skipped a shipment and changed the delivery date like I always used to. That's the beauty of AD you control when you get it. Don't know why you are having problems, but I doubt that they make it so you can't change it anymore, nobody would ever use AD.
