Where have all the classy show hosts gone?! Remember Kathy Levine, Lisa Robertson, and many others? Now QVC seems to clone show hosts. They all look the same. Many have annoying voices.. Can't stand to watch QVC anymore. I also think QVC expanded too much and can't keep up with shipping. Getting bigger is not always better.

@TWI think many of the newer hosts are way classier than KL. Never found her appeal to be because she was classy. Sometimes fun to watch for reasons other than class though. I wasn't suprised when she didn't stay at the top once she left QVC.

Oh yes........the annoying voices. I completely agree with that one.

Oh yes........the annoying voices. I completely agree with that one.

I had to turn it off today. Not only are they looking alike they are using the same line to sell the gold.

ITA...LOL....Whoever did the interviewing and hiring must've been into cloning because many of newer hosts do resemble one another....hard to tell whose who....There are a few I do like---Katie McGee is one....

Your right, now most of the hosts either talk like auctioneers, or are nasal and sound like they have a cold, or have a higher pitched voice tone.....

I think the reason LibertyInteractive purchased HSN and merged QVC/HSN into Qurate is they are trying to keep pace with the retail competition....BUT their big mistake was having 3 TV channels for QVC to deal with.....and enough hosts to fill 2 of them 24/7......WOW what an expense that is right there--not only host salaries but in addition --- the TV crew--producers, camera people etc etc.....

They're just all very ordinary.Wannabees. Can't compare to the "old" hosts. I was so disappointed in Courtney Khondabi late yesterday afternoon selling gold and Diamonique. She said more than once that Diamonique was "stimulated" diamonds. It was embarassing.

And the last time some of the newer host did jewelry presentations they didnt know how to pronounce the names of the rarer stones (hey new hosts---Google is your friend and shows you how to prounce words DO YOUR HOMEWORK....I heard there are pre-show meetings to see what you will be presenting!)

Old hosts are 'classy'? Antonella- not, Jane T-not. And now Kim G 'hosting'....the farthest thing from classy as you can get. Omg cannot watch any of them!

I have noticed a lot of new hosts.

One thing I'd like to see in more of a variety. Why can't QVC hire people of other ethnicity's?

I'd like to see (hosts and vendors) who are of Asian decent, Hispanic descent.

I do agree. The hosts all look alike to me. They're all blonde and the new one's are all young!

It's a pleasure watching Carolyn and Mary Beth on their shows.

I'm not telling Antonella how to wear her hair (I wear a wig, what do I know). But I will say, she used to have brown hair and it set her apart, now even she is blonde.

I never see sweet Gabriella anymore. I know she's on one of the other QVC's; but it would be nice to see her on QVC 1 or whatever it's now called.

I do know other people watch the other QVC's because my daughter called me talking about Sean. I said, "What? Wait! Where's she?" My daughter said, "She's on QVC 2". I said, "I can't keep up with all of these".

But that just me, I guess. But I'm like some of you. I actually buy stuff from QVC. I don't just channel surf. You'd think some of us old timers would have a little input here.

There's a host in training who was presenting a Diamonique item. Nine out of ten times she referred to it as diamonds. She just couldn't get it right. Drove me nuts. But I'll say this, she's an enthusiastic one and thinks every QVC item hung the moon! Phonyfest for sure
