I know this has probably been discussed ad nauseam, but I am not on these boards much. That said, I ordered a Lug bag April 4 for a trip to Florida April 13. I checked status this morning and it said it was shipped this morning for expected delivery Friday, April 14. Isn't this rather long for shipping, two weeks from ordering to receiving an item? I will be in Florida by that time. Lesson learned I guess.

I was reading reviews of Temu, a super-discount website that ships from China.  Most of the bad reviews were about the shipping time.  People complained about waiting up to two weeks to receive their orders.  I had to laugh, thinking that they must not shop on QVC much!  And the Q isn't even shipping from China!  No excuse for their slow shipping, which often starts with items not even leaving the warehouse for over a week.

Yes, Lug is notorious for its slow shipping time.  Both from its website and from QVC.

in this case the problem isn't QVC, it's Lug. No matter where you order from, here or the Lug website. And that has been discussed at length. Lug has lost customers (I'm one)because their shipping times are ridiculous. Other companies manage to get their products out in a reasonably timely manner. Lug has been dropping the ball in a big way. I was so p*issed about my last experience with them that I decided no more. I've switched to IHKWIP which offers very similar bags, high quality, normal shipping times.

You can search the history in these threads and find many comments regarding shipping times for Lug. It's my understanding these are shipped directly from Lug, not the QVC warehouse and they have been very slow.

I've placed 17 orders in the last month or so. Every single item was shipped within 72 hours. In all honesty, I never plan to receive my items from QVC or HSN before 2 weeks so I have been pleasantly surprised on all my orders.

that's a good way to look at it, and is what I do too-plan on two full weeks. I ordered the new IHKWIP zig zag bag two days ago and it shipped almost immediately. If that had been a Lug, it would be in process for a week or ten days with no guarantee that I would ever receive it. (That was actually my last lug experience. Never got the bag at all)

shipping times are ridiculous....we should be able to cancel orders until the date they ship - often things arrive well beyond when I wanted them for a purpose...and then have to pay to return. GRRRRRRRR

I ordered a Lug bag on 3/31. It was statused as shipped on 4/4 but UPS hadn't taken possession of it then.  Early on the morning of 4/10 I wrote to QVC Social Team twice only to be told it was already half way across the country & would arrive on 4/12--today (even tho the status by the tracking # still said it hadn't been picked up by UPS yet).  I emailed a third time---got a different rep who appologized & said it left the warehouse on 4/10 in Buffalo, NY & would be arriving by 4/18!!!  Ridiculous.  That's it for me & Lug.  :-(

I placed an order on Wednesday, April 9th. Today , Monday, April 14th the item is being prepared to ship. Should be here by April 19th. Had I ordered from Amazon or Walmart, it would have been here by the 13th of April.

horrible shipping on food items taking over a week for perishable items that causes people to become sick!
