Shipping a real disappointment

I place order on 3-5 for IM cardigan. It says estimated delivery 3-12. Since it was a 7 day delivery, I thought it would be shipping from Ontario warehouse, I live in CA. Today is 3-11 and my order is still in process, I don't think it will make tomorrows estimated delivery. I don't understand Q's shipping slowness. I ordered 2 tops from a B & M online on 3-8 and they are out for delivery today! Everyone is having manpower issues, but Q's slow shipping has been an issue even before the Covid. Just disappointing.

Re: Shipping a real disappointment

I agree, it has been.  And you said it yourself that it has been a problem long before Covid, supply chain issues and manpower shortages.

Then we shouldn't be surprised when our orders still linger in processing longer than we would like.

I am aware of QVC's shipping time frame and therefore, keep it in mind when ordering something.  As said, QVC does NOT sell life sustaining products, so either wait or we can shop elsewhere.  Our choice.

So if we know this...it doesn't make sense to be really disappointed.

I agree with everything you said. But, I thought the purpose of the west coast warehouse to speed up delivery to the western part of the country. So that everything didn't have to be shipped from the east coast.

"Estimated" is key.  I have a pkg sitting at our local PO for three days waiting for them to accept and deliver; not Q's fault

Re: Shipping a real disappointment

My orders are mostly shipping in about 3 days, mostly from the Ontario warehouse.  If they take longer, I assume the merchandise has not yet arrived but is on the way.  I'm not in a big rush.  It's Newgistics delaying our orders that infuriates me, a!ong with the idiotic tracking comments they post.

@rms1954   Its sounds as though your package, like one of mine, its a victim of Newgistics.  I've spoken with an employee at my PO and he says they don't post those messages, not their terminology, and they don't have room to hold packages.

@Kachina624 Same. I also spoke with them about the "package acceptance pending" & they told me the same. They don't have it.

lmtep - The difference is your package has shipped, mine is still "in process". I received an email today, saying sorry for the delay  along with a new delivery date.

Never had any delivery problems. Just received a HSN package from Tennessee to Boston in 3 days. No complaints.

The EDD, of course is estimated, but they need to add an "O", somewhere in the QVC logo, for overpromised.
