In this day and age it shouldn't take long to get an order.  QVC seems to want to expand and compete with the BIG boys but they are falling SHORT on delivery times.  JMHO

Same for HSN.  I just called today about a shipment for an order I placed on 10/2 that's still in "packaging".  Although right about now, I'm sure the weather events are contributing to some delays.

At this calendar date the delay is not the PO or UPS on my orders.  I watch my order to see when and from where it is shipped.  The first 4-5 days are packaging, etc and just getting to the respective shipping outfit.  I live in a rural area about 45 minutes from the location of a PO and UPS hub that are along an interstate highway.   UPS may take a small package next door to the PO when they do not have other deliveries in my area.  That can add 1 day.  I understand their doing this.  At Christmas time UPS is still good at delivering and my poor driver can get here after 8 PM and not done yet.  My major shipping problem has been good safe packaging.  I can not expect an item shipped in a box twice it's size to arrive in crushed and the small amount of tape holding all in tack.  Someone along the route has taken time to add more tape to keep items secure.  The only items properly packaged are WEN and Philosophy.

I totally agree regarding the shipping times.  Sometimes an item I ordered won't get here for 2 weeks when including weekends  - by the time the order arrives, the excitement of the purchase is over - I am no longer interested so I return it.  I think QVC could cut down alot of their returns if orders were received quicker....some of the items are not even  shipped via QVC, they are shipped through the vendor.  Bottom line:  find a way to ship quicker, and stop trying to con us with cheaper shipping costs when we all know, shipping is included in the skyrocketing prices!

I bought a ton of stuff two weeks ago during the big clearance.  I though they were shipped very fast; I received everything last week plus a couple of things ordered later.  No complaints here.

The shipping is getting slower and slower with qvc, I have cancelled several orders due to the fact I see they are still in process 5-7 days later.  They have lost alot of business from me due to the slow delivery times  I dont have a problem with HSN they are pretty good.  Evine actually gets orders out in a day or two after being placed and ship 2nd day with the normal S&H charges.  I placed an order with Evine on a Saturday and got in on Wednesday.  QVC has laid off workers in the last few months.  Not a good idea when Christmas rush is upon them.

I'm not sure what causes some customers to have slow shipping and the rest of us quick.  Mine ship so fast I rarely ever get a chance to cancel an order.  I don't mind some wait time.  QVC needs to give my fast shipping to someone else.  Lol

I often get things from eBay and Amazon in three days or so.
