Hello ladies. I have been reading where everyone is upset about the cost of garments and/or shipping costs. I totally agree with all of you that the shipping costs are crazy, way out of control. This past week I received (in the same UPC/Post Office deliveries) two boxes, one from QVC and one from HSN. The QVC box was around the same size as you would receive a all cotton jacket. Here's a run down on the costs. The item number is J260743. I ordered 1 black flower and 1 brown flower. the total cost to have them shipped (including the item itself) was $64.26!!! The total shipping and handling was $8.20!!! One flower cost $5.47 to be shipped and WOW!! I got a break on the other flower, it only cost $2.74!!! that was a total cost of shipping and handling of $8.20. The tax was $3.06!! THIS IS CRAZY!! Yes, I'm yelling!! I just called Customer Service and she didn't even try to justify that cost! She just said, "OK. Well, I send it up to the front office". I wasn't rude to her. She's just doing her job. At least she had the sense (unlike the last time I called complaining) not to try to justify the cost of the shipping and handling. Why is it that HSN can put different items all in the same box and after whatever it isa that you buy for that day everything is shipped 1/2 price! The HSN box had 3 Dianne Gilman tops and 2 Victoria Weick rings in it and it wasn't quite as large as that box from QVC containing 2 Joan River's flowers in it. Their sales just have to be going down because people (including me and several of you ladies) are getting sick and tired of paying these shipping costs. I know everything is going up, but QVC offers little or none free shipping, but you have quite a few on line companies offering free shipping on everything you buy. Even on ebay some of those people offer free shipping. That is probably difficult for some of them as some of them are small Mom and Pop companies, yet they can see the value of having customers coming back because they don't feel RIPPED OFF!! If you are tired of the costs of shipping and handling of QVC please stand up and have your voice counted. If you call Customer Service that would be even better because then they know it is not just a bunch of people on this web site, you have a voice and are letting QVC know you are raising your hand and being counted. Thanks! I'll bet this gets dumped, let's see!!!
