No one, not even a host, has to come clean about anything. It's none of our business.

I don't care what size a host says they wear, how much weight they gain or lose, or what they do with their nails, hair, self tanner. I don't care what glasses they wear. None of it matters to me. Everyone can be who they are.

That said, if someone isn't your style, don't watch or be around them.

Obsessed? @ellaphant  The hosts talk ad nauseum about their family, vacations and everything else.  They open the door. They can’t have it both ways.

I agree that there's nothing obsessive about most discussions about hosts.  It's a QVC forum after all, so it's just logical and is encouraged.

Hosts are incentivized to engage viewers, amass followers and fans and accumulate posts and likes.  It will only grow as social media becomes more essential to The QVC Group.

It's all a part of the evolving business model.

And there's nothing wrong with posters asking simple,  harmless questions.   No one is asking for personal details.

Getting bent out of shape about it is strange and obsessive.

Don't you get the difference? Thats their JOB. That doesn't entitle you to know anything they don't want you to know. Why would you care? Obsessed much?

I don't care what size the hosts are.  I think they should have hosts of all sizes.  But I do want the hosts to be honest about what size they are wearing if they put on QVC clothes.  As I see it, there is one host who wears a size smaller than she should, and another host who CLEARLY is wearing a size or two larger than she says she is.  Do they think we are dumb?  We have eyes.  We can see.  We can compare her body size to the person next to her whose size we do believe.

I shop a lot at QVC.  But I watch much less than I used to.  Some of the newer hosts I just don't care for, and I can't even figure out why.

I am going through my closet now and will be donating a lot of QVC clothing.  I need to be more selective going forward.

I think often viewers who believe they are of a similar size and body type of a host or model look to them to determine how they think it would look on the customer. They use it as a guideline.

After all, why else wear the garment.

So if one wants to mention the size they are wearing they need to accurately tell the size they're wearing. Anything less is a disservice to the customer. If a host doesn't divulge their size then there's no controversy.
