@mariadomenica Yes, I've noticed the weight loss. She looks good. I don't watch her much. I love her on the podcast...I think she's great at that, and I've enjoyed most of them so far. I look forward to new episodes. But, I rarely watch her as a host...don't find her honest enough or just not my cup of tea when it comes to presenting. I don't mind her quirkiness, just not informative in a good way for me to watch presenting products.
Can relate...I too gained about 12-15 lbs during and since Covid...finally lost what I wanted to this year and hoping to keep it off, feel much better! Not about the number as much as I'm petite framed, and that was a lot on me. Also had an unhealthy body fat zone, so for health reasons had to take it off. So I cheer her on with that.
What I and I think others didn't appreciate is when she was clearly about a size 6-8 on air, saying she was in a size 2 or XS pants. I, normally, a 2/4, was pushing a size 6 and smaller than Shawn, yet she was saying she was in 2's didn't help anyone really judge what size pants they needed. I'd give her a pass, personally in real life, her business, BUT when your job on air is to be as accurate as possible, when giving sizing...not cool.
Anyhoo. Shawn is gonna be Shawn. Yes, I recall those "Princess Di" days.

After 50 weight is a constant up and down
Its metabollic and hormonal
I recently heard Kim Gravel say she's gained weight
It's a dance, and it's constant so to watch everyday what you eat, how much you eat
and when you eat.
I changed my dance in 24 and lost 30 lbs unintentionally
I truly didn't expect it

Why another comment about Shawn's body? Obsessed, maybe?

Holy ****** - this obsession with Shawn and her sizing is unreal......

I see Shawn is taking off a lot of weight. I will say she looks great. I do (and I am sure I am not alone) get tired of her thinking that all the clothing is for us to watch her wear. I think Shawn "came clean" publicly after the pandemic. Like the rest of us, she gad put on some pounds. Heck, all we did was wear pajama to leisure clothes. I believe without her saying she was telling us something else .....I will leave it up to the QVC ladies who watched Shawn from the early days when she could have been Princess Diana's double. I am happy she is in a better place. I have mixed feelings though....about her need to emphasize the clothing on her.
Okay, I've read your comments three times and am still not sure what you mean.
If you watch a certain host and notice their weight goes up or down, why would they need to "come clean" about the change?
I doubt it would be necessary to say anything at all.
Perhaps you need to get a different hobby.

I don't think I'd use the term "came clean." During the pandemic she spoke openly about being frustrated with her weight, and mentioned several times that she had gained 15 or 20 pounds.
When she made a point to lose it she did it fairly quickly.

Thats a myth about over 50. Watch what you eat , move. I'm 20 pounds less than I was in college. Yes, my waist area has gotten bigger even with weight loss, there are body changes. But to just blame significant weight gain after 50 ' just happening' is not true.

I don't believe the after-50 weight gain either. It depends on the person, not the age.

my mother always said after menapause women do tend to gain weight and that you have to start watching what you eat whereas when younger metabolism is faster plus you have estrogen . I don't know if that is really true or not , I mean estrogen does play a part .
