I agree! I don't watch her often and was surprised to see her. Has she lost weight? She looks fabulous!

Something has been different about her for awhile - she still gets on my last nerve but she looks better and seems calmer, less frantic.  I always thought she had a drinking problem. I cannot figure out what those disconcerting huge heavy rimmed glasses are about.  Her lenses don't appear to have any correction in them.  I was office manager and assistant to an optometrist for 15 years so I know a bit about the appearance of lenses for far sighted, near sighted, astigmatism and hers have none of that.  Given the oversize of the lenses themselves, if they were just for reading they would magnify her eyes greatly which they don't.

I wonder sometimes too if she wears those sometimes silly eyeglasses as fashion statements, that's a pretty good assessment of SK, she does appear at times to be out of sorts although some do love this quirkiness trait about her.

She was always quirky.  I remember the Sally Jesse red glasses & wanted the same ones.  I like her glasses & I think she may have a mild reading prescription or they are readers.  She said she started a more healthy lifestyle with regular exercise back in Jan & gave up wine for Lent.

I really liked Shawn's quirky-ness, when I first saw her, and loved the gorgeous shoes and boots that she often wore too.

Was not crazy about her "scenario conversations" with Issac, which I felt were a bit much.

However, the last couple of years, she seemed to be "different" in a not-so-positive way, and I wondered if she had a lot going on in her personal life that affected her moods and behavior.

I never noticed the constant "nose wiping" until other people on the Board pointed it out - Do you think the cold air in the studios made her nose run? - I worked at a TV station for a while, and I can attest that the studios are freezing.

Lately, she seems to have calmed down significantly, so I'm wondering if she's on meds now and doing better (?)

Either way, she's still one of my favorites - Quirky-ness and all.

@marlenegardner    Drinking problem?   Why would you say something like that.   If some enjoys an occasional drink whether it be wine or other drinks doesn't mean you have a drinking proble,

Her dad died from pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago. It hit her hard, hence she experienced a lot of pain.

I have always really liked Shawn. She has a great figure, and is very pretty....She is quirky, I bet she is very fun to be around......She seems very happy to me and has what appears to be a very loving family......
