I just watched the posted video, and neither of those moments are there. I'm thinking they were edited out, or maybe happened during a presentation prior to the posted one. I remember distinctly the "confused" comment happened when Shawn removed the plum boots from the turntable as they had sold out.

Unfortunately Shawn often presents items that I might be interested in. I've learned not to waste my time watching her, because I won't get any information about what I want to see.

I have found to only rely on what's presented on the website or seek information from another site.

Won't watch, can't watch, because I deserve better.

@stevieb Though I understand your feeling about others unable to avoid watching a host they dislike, I have to disagree. There are two that I absolutely cannot watch. Unfortunately one is on quite often during a time I like to watch QVC. Another, on in the evenings, leaves me avoiding QVC most nights.

If a host really bothers a person so much they feel the need to immediately come to these boards and complain, they can easily avoid watching. There is absolutely nothing I want to see so badly that I will sit for an hour and watch something that irritates me. If items are presented I have some interest in, and it has happened numerous times, I wait until they are no longer on the air.

I have gone so far as to really want an item, usually a TSV, but the hosts I dislike the most are on, so I wait to order until they are finished, even risking a sell out.

Again, there are people on here that seem to dislike a certain host yet will still watch. It's as if they want them to have some kind of blunder so they can complain.

I agree 100%. Even when she is hosting a show I'd normally be interested in I won't watch. So like you won't watch, can't watch.

I hate when Shawn puts people on the spot and asks their age. I find it unnecessary.

Yes, @piperbay,and  it borders on cruel to ask Dennis if his teeth are his or dentures.

Re: Shawn Saves Christmas

[ Edited ]

That's fine @cjm61 we'll agree to disagree, sort of. 99% of the time there is nothing so precious on Q that I'm induced to watch, but clearly, there are quite a few folks that rely (or over-rely) on Q for shopping and/or entertainment, and if they want to see an item badly enough one supposes they hold their noses and watch. As redundant as the product mix is and as mundane as most 'special' values tend to be, I personally will take a pass and come back later or rely on videos to make a choice, but not everyone does, and, again, those who are prone to watching are going to find that for better or worse, Shawn, and a few others often cited here, are heavily programmed. Personally, the complaints don't bother me, though they can grow tiresome.

I really like Shawn. I know she is quirky but that is what appeals to me. She's not the same cookie-cutter host. I can understand how she may not be liked by some but for the hosts I am not fond of, I just don't watch. I think she can be brutally honest and I appreciate that.

So many come here to post immediately about her "antics" but I just don't understand why they watch her at all. Again, I don't watch hosts I don't care for, plenty of other shopping channels to watch if that is what you are looking for.

I don't dislike Shawn, though I'm also not a fan. To answer your question as to why those who do seem to dislike her watch her, perhaps it has to do with the fact that she's so often programmed. I don't watch much QVC but for those who do, it's hard to avoid her if they want to watch what is being presented.

That is well said @stevieb.  We don't always have a choice when we want live descriptions of products, we have to watch the presentation available and with maybe not a favorite host.

@febe1

I can't understand how Shawn says she bought 2 of this or 3 of that.  She more often than not looks like a ragamuffin.
