I agree @chessylady . Can you imagine Courtney or Leah or Pat posting a picture like this? She really does crave attention.
that is one horrible photo ! I wouldn't show that to anyone and especially not posting it !! Something wrong with her.

Shawn promoted them for down there!
Had the Q on in the background on and off today. "Menopause Monday" is definitely not my thing but before flipping the channel my husband heard her wonderful "selling technique"/"sales pitch" and brought it to my attention.
So she goes against the "recommendation" of the vendor in order to be "real" and "honest"???!!!
Just gross.

I saw the first few minutes, the talk continues of one more month then Shawn can
join the party of being in menopause for the full year.
What next clothing stating something wacky like "Menopause Mama"?

I used to love, QVC. Boy, has it changed and not for the better. The exaggeration of the hosts and the hyperness of the hosts is too much to take. QVC use to seem like a little more upscale channel. No more. And I do agree with others with all the quirky big glasses and loud clothing and LOUD host personalities. After Covid, QVC definitely went downhill and it is still going downhill. They used to carry a lot more luxury brands too. Most of the women’s clothing is super baggy and unattractive. And don’t get me started how a lot of the vendors get to sell stuff from their dining room instead of flying into QVC. Maybe QVC should start reading their forums and seeing what people would actually like to watch.
First ... welcome!
Second ... QVC started as a TV shopping channel when they were the only game in town. They had the whole market. They finally had real competition when the internet came along and suddenly every retailer in the universe was dabbling in online sales, and it went from bad to worse.
@Tinkrbl44 The policies and decisions of TPTB are the reason QVC is FAILING in the PROFIT DEPT. None of them seem to have a clue about how to run a successful company. They seem totally "unplugged" from what the customers want to see and buy.
Having spent much of my career attuned to Sales and Marketing, I now have a different theory about QVC.
I suspect that some top executives spent a ton of money on some S & M Consultants who told them what they needed to do to get back on top, which is what we see on-air now.
Even if they thought the Consultants' ideas were stupid, they'd spent so much money on the study that they had to follow through and let it play out.
Yes, I'm just guessing here, but it would explain the stupidity we see.
JMO, of course.
@Tinkrbl44 sure makes sense to me . It would certainly explain the nonsense !

@happilyretiredgirl do you mean she wasn't showering daily !?🙀

Why would you post that?

I heard that too, as I was clicking thru the channels last night.
Poor Shawn looked so deflated, when the vendor corrected her - She soooo wanted to keep talking about "wiping down there" ![]()

I think she posted that photo because she thinks she looks cute 😏

Posting that picture garnered her almost 1,000 comments on her QVC Facebook page.
That's all management wants at this point: attention, positive or negative.
No one here has any clue or idea as to how many sales are spurred and initiated by a host posting. For all we know, it could be a lot.

Comments do not equal buying. Because a picture of anyone that looks like Shawn in this picture would not entice me into buy anything.
