SF is nice and has many good qualities but her fake role playing - drama over the food is over the top. Can't watch her eating.

I enjoy watching Sharon as well. She seems really lovely.

I think Sharon does a nice job whatever type of program she is hosting. Unfortunately, she rarely gets to host a fashion or beauty hour. Contrary to an opinion posted above speaking fast and monotone is a most inaccurate description. Her vocal pattern and enunciation is in the top percentage of the QVC on air staff. She never resorts to the high pitched and rapid screech of others -- even if presenting a hot item which is selling out quickly.

At the very least I think she has earned the opportunity to be David V.'s regular substitute for his In the Kitchen shows.

Her faces on the food shows rival the best from David Venable.

I thought I was the only one who noticed. I enjoy watching Sharon present anything but food...

I agree with a previous poster. I enjoy her on anything other than the food shows. She's very articulate and very polite with all the vendors.

I agree. I like Sharon and think she does a fine job. I wish we would see her on other programs. Her presentation style is very professional but friendly. It's a nice combination.

Interesting...I also like Sharon's presentations, but don't like her as a host on a food program!! While she is very low key and professional on other shows, she makes lots of "clown like" faces when eating the food on the food shows. I see no need to make "yum/yum" faces while trying the food - just say it is good or you like it!!

But would you believe her if she just said it was good, and didn't make yum-yum face? Smile

I think the best food hosts don't just say yummy or this is good. Sharon goes out of her way to describe the flavors and textures or relates a food to something we are familiar with. As I said before, she has a strong grasp of the english language and never seems to fumble for the right word or phrase.
