I have a sparkly bows Valentino top I've yet to wear.  Martha had it on during one of her QVC presentations and I was able to track one down.

Will wear it sometime this season it's too fun not to wear it 1000020346.jpg1000020347.jpg

Even in lounge wear.  If you are wearing head to toe sparkle even shoes, and if you have a large enough christmas tree, hang on the tree and become an ornament.

I'm tired of it also.  Maybe if I had somewhere to wear sparkles I would be more interested.

Life is what YOU make it!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE sequins and sparkles and wear them often, as well as gift them.

(Yes, cheaper than diamonds, but I am a true fan of fine jewelry, even though the prices these days are outrageous.)

I wear sequins and sparkles on holidays (Christmas, New Year's), for birthday and anniversary dinners, on cruises, and for special events.

I love to look fancy and take lots of photos. Feeling glamorous is great!

Life is too short to not have fun and celebrate.

I just ordered the LOGO sequin sleeve top A667539 for casual days.

My newest dress from Macy's--a sparkling, sequin stunner by Kensie:

I like sparkles and sequins for holidays and special occasions. And some sparkles on occasion for every day is fine too.

@xryretriever   ITA. I'm a "Plain Jane". If I DO go somewhere that fancy, it's black silk pants for me and a solid silky shirt. If that's not acceptable, I stay home.

I am more likely to wear sparkly things in a very casual way than in a formal/dress-up way.  I'm more of a funky sparkler.

I would never do the sparkly glam thing even for a "formal" event.  I tend to be more classic for those things.

Re: Sequins and sparkles

[ Edited ]

I had a sequins moment last year when KG and SG had sequinned outfits.  First thing I noticed was all the (deservedly) bad reviews when the pieces shed sequins all over everything.  Anything I couldn't return was donated to our local women's charity shop.

Realized my style is not sequins, but a little sparkle that can go a long way.  Imagine how delighted I was to find Issac Mizrahi seems to have brought back this wonderful simple top that I love:

It appears to be fully back in stock with 2 new colors.   I also have the emerald snowflake T-shirt that is really nice.
