Sent someone else's return...

I ordered an attitudes by Rene top and received it recently.  I opened it today and it is clearly someone else's return.  It is rolled into a wrinkled ball, has pet hairs on it AND it still has the QVC return form stuck onto the shirt!!!  with this other customer's info on it (address, return reason, etc).

I understand that they send out clothing returns if they are not defective, just like at B&M stores, other people try on the clothes.  But I just can't believe that they would not take the time to ensure that the item was clean and properly packaged...and for Pete's sake remove the other customer's return form!

I am sending this back, as I did not pay $35 for someone else's dirty wrinkled laundry.  I sure hope I do not have to pay return shipping.  Has this ever happened to anyone else?

tantallum99, I would notify c/s right away so that your account will be noted.  Surely, they will refund the entire amount.

@Tantallum I agree with you, this is not what you expect when buying something new. I am sure Q will refund your return postage.

Even if you call c/s and they note on your account to issue a full refund of all shipping charges be sure and keep check on it and make sure when is has been refunded that you have been given a  FULL refund !!!!!

How unpleasant and maddening was that?  Like mentioned,

make sure you get a full refund.

@tantallum99   "we get other's returned items as long as they're not defective" - this is a HUGE statement.  I'd like to agree but I cannot because I've received returned items that are definitely NOT in good shape, not clean, and defective.

I'd be checking in with CS on this one for a FULL REFUND as well the item you ordered.

@Tantallum  THAT is so DISGUSTING!   Wow what happened to the Quality  in QVC's name ?  As the hosts always say you never try on clothes from QVC that have been tried on before like when you shop in the stores.... what a bold faced lie.  Who knows what you get  when they send out dirty clothes... bed bugs come to mind.

Yes, I had this happen to me... a dirty kleenex was in the pocket of a skirt I purchased one time.... that is pretty disgusting as well.

@Tantallum .. I once ordered a new B. Makowsky Handbag... not an "as is".  When it arrived it still had the previous owner's candy, empty candy wrappers and half eaten candy inside.  Naturally I immediately called CS and demanded that they pay for the return shipment.  I no longer purchase as much from the Q as I once did.. but when I do I carefully examine all the products when they arrive to be sure they are not returns.

Re: Sent someone else's return...

Somewhere on these boards I once read that if the sticker on the plastic bag the item comes in is rectangular it is a new item and if it is square it is a return.
