Yet another reason, I am so glad I don't do social media like that!!!!!

I googled that a video creator has to opt in to this feature for it to appear.  Really strange she has no idea about it.

Just perused her facebook page for the first time in quite awhile and was quite surprised how the number of comments she gets after posting anything has decreased. And in what used to be Community but now called Mentions hardly any postings anymore. She has picked up some more male fans but they're mostly just "you are beautiful" type posts. 

She sells some pretty jewelry pieces but seems overload on the totes and bags and a lot of the blouses look like she's wearing party dresses for little girls on top. 

Looking at her offerings she still gets some sell outs but not everything is flying out the door like in the past. Her Christmas in July will probably do good though. She does have some unusual and beautiful items during that month.

@Mj12  She also deleted her short discussion when first asked about this. She rarely responds to any questions but she did this one a few times then poof.

@suziebee1  I know. You see there are maybe 162 posts then when you look at the actual,posts there are only 120 or some other number as the rest were deleted. Probably negative.

I also saw this "stars" promotion a few days ago on her site and thought..."what the heck?"  I ignored it.

I am one of the original tribe members and I haven't purchased anything from Lisa in over a year.  Alot of us members have stopped posting over there as much because it's just not as much fun as it used to be.  There are some "creepy" posts that have shown up over there over the past couple of years and I think that is one reason why most of us have stopped posting as much on her FB page.

I like Lisa alot.  Always have and always will.  BUT, her sales of items have really gone down and I'm afraid she isn't making the money like she did in the beginning.  It's so evident.....just go over and look at all the pages and pages and pages of items still for sale.  She is even posting today there is a last chance to get in on an "advanced order" of a ring....which just shows she is wanting people to buy.  We have noticed that many items she puts up for sale and doesn't "sell out"....she places a "sold out" sign on it and lo and behold, the same item shows back up in a month.  I think she pulls these items and marks them as sold out and waits and brings them back, hoping someone may buy.

I have always heard that new businesses do okay for the first 5 years, but that the crucial time for a business to survive is during 5 through 10 years.  Lisa just started her 5th anniversary of this facebook page and selling and I'm afraid that if her sales do not improve, she may not be around to do this in a couple of years.  She may need to think about reducing her prices.  After all, there is a lot of competition out there.  One is Jill Bauer selling items on her facebook page.

IMO another thing that might be slowing down sales is that many of the jewelry items must be paid in advance. You have to pay the full amount but don't receive your item till a month or two down the road because they are made in the jewelry factory after she submits her full order.

There is always a cut off date by which everyone must have ordered and payed then she submits it. Sometimes the factory tells her how many they can make and once that number of orders is received she gives it to them.

I checked her Facebook Live Chat last night, and that buy stars thing kept popping up, so she must endorse it or I doubt it would pop up on her chat.

I just watched a couple of min of that chat and it was popping up. If she's not happy about it I wonder if she has the option of stopping it from happening cause it's probably embarrasing, kind of like outright asking for $$.
