I found this article.  I don't think this had anything to do with QVC but it may have had something to do with them hiring Jill to help out.   here is the article which goes back to 2020.  I didn't realize it was that long ago.

JD also said that he had mercury poisoning, though he wasn't sure about how he had contracted it. Regardless, he was treated for everything and, in 2020, he seemed to be miles past his illnesses, even if they were relatively serious when he was first diagnosed.
