I was watching Food Fest this afternoon. I don't buy food from QVC as a rule because it is too expensive, but I was looking for something that wouldn't take a lot of work to serve to company for Easter. They came on with Kansas City Sirloin steaks. (M23243) If you order two packs it is a better deal - so I ordered the two packs for $89. I ordered on the phone. I decided to check on my computer to make sure the cs rep got the order right. (She asked me what color and size I wanted - so I told her I wanted the brown steaks! She laughed and realized her mistake.)
When I went on line to check the item I noticed on the side it had the same thing for $19 less. (M22761) Now I'm confused so I call customer service and ask why the same item has two different prices. She tapped danced around a little bit and than admitted she had no idea. I told her to cancel the original order and put me down for the one that cost less. She said fine and I thought we were done. I received an e-mail telling me that since the first order comes from an outside vendor they would try to cancel but weren't sure they could. (This was less that 15 minutes after I ordered.) If they are thinking I will pay for both orders they are sadly mistaken. The cs rep never said to me they might not be able to cancel the first order, and I will send back the order I don't want. They will receive some very thawed out steaks if they don't straighten this out! Has anyone else had a problem canceling an order from Kansas City Steaks????
