Gosh @Shanus I don't know how! Mail and UPS rates have sky rocketed.
Just last week I returned a pair of Vionics that had a return label fee of $6.95.
I thought I could do better. I took them out of the outside shipping box and returned them in their own box but in a QVC bag to save weight. $8.95 I paid! I could have send them back $2 cheaper WITH the outside shipping box!
I don't return much but that is the 3rd time I have paid more on my own than what the label would have cost me.
Usually if I pay myself, it gets back much faster than waiting for the 3rd party shipper to pick up the returns.
However, those Vionic sandals sat at Q returns for 2 more weeks before I got my credit.

@GinaV24, that is not true. I signed up for the UPS MyChoice program (free) and when I have a SurePost package coming I can get the USPS tracking number from the UPS website.
Even without being a MyChoice member the USPS tracking number may show up when you track your package through UPS. I'm automatically signed into MyChoice so I can't verify if the USPS number is available to everyone.

@GinaV24 When you click on the UPS tracking if it's a SurePost packing, the USPS tracking # is on the right hand side when you get to the UPS website. I'm surprised USPS doesn't know that. It's easy to track.
