Yes! Almost missed one of my fav days on QVC.

I wonder if R. of T. is being phased out altogether now?
Gone is the usual TSV on St. Pat's and R. of T. days and the show times have been cut down to just a few hours.
It doesn't look to me that there are new items being brought in and regarding a lot of the items I've seen on air today (admittedly not all - I've only been watching intermittently) the hosts have often said "there is no reorder on this item." It all seems rather indicative to me that these lovely shows may soon be discontinued.

I used to make it a point of watching the Irish shows. But, the last several shows really did not sell many new items! I have lost interest in the product repeats and rarely watch now. I do enjoy watching Steven, the green marble guy, though....

@corita@ LOL @ "the green marble guy." Boy, except for getting grayer, he looks exactly the same year after year. Stephen Walsh - seems like a great guy and fun to be around.
The "Leprechaun."
I may have spoken too soon above. The Waterford crystal vase on now is a new item. Still...there are a lot of stale items being presented that I've seen time after time after time.

The last several shows over the last couple of years have been pretty dismal, IMO. They have almost done away totally with having any vendors over from Ireland, and the items sent aren't of the appeal and variety they used to have.
The throws are all small, AFAIC. I was perhaps looking to buy one as a Xmas gift. But $100 and up for a throw the size of those in the $15 bin at many stores? Even though it's a beautiful wool, for those prices, too small unless you want it for someone 12 and under.
The jewelry, key chains, the Belleek, the Waterford, the linens are same-old same-old. They are slightly (but only slightly) different "Irish tchotchkes" from every other year. They're largely offering "stuff" that's typical tourist fare, and can be bought online in many places any time of year. Nothing really special or unique.
The sweaters are probably their best offering, but how many $100-$150 Irish sweaters does one need? And they don't ever have sweaters that larger customers can wear comfortably or at all.
I took a look at all the offerings and there's nothing I'm even interested in tuning in to look at; that's the doing of QVC buyers. They must have been told buy cheap, buy easily shippable. Meh.
It does make me sad.

To @Moonchilde 's point, I wonder if there will be a Belleek lamp? So far there isn't one. Those are usually beautiful. I have one from years ago - shipped in perfect condition, evening including the light bulb! Those aren't something you see locally. One of our major department stores has a lot of Belleek but nothing even remotely like a beautiful lamp.

@Moonchilde The sweaters are the best offering and deal, even at a higher price. Only because I have ordered them from Irish web sites and most of them are still headquartered in Ireland and ship from there. The shipping charges are very high, and they sit in customs forever. I know, how many do you need. For me it's want, I just love them and I'm Irish. I only have a few, I gave away the larger ones I had years ago. It does stink that they don't have them in your size.
Every time they do seem to be phasing out the Irish items, it is a shame. Profit margin not high enough, perhaps.
They did have a new sweater in Jane's show on now, a kangaroo pocket. Not my style but I'm sure many would like it. The cardigan on now is a great deal at $89.98.

@Greeneyedlady21, if you live in a cold area, go for as many sweaters as you want, I say ;-)
I don't live in a cold area (it was 100+ this past weekend), so for me it'd be a one and done. And yeah, bummer that they don't even bring sweaters I can wear :-(
I have always identified with Ireland and knew I had Irish in there "somewhere" as well as Scots-Irish, but last Xmas I learned that my paternal great-grandparents were born in Ireland (had not known that at all), as well as their firstborn and possibly my grandmother (just). So now I feel really legit ;-)
