Rick is great. He's knowledgeable and gives a lot of detail on products. I don't mind him selling jewelry at all, I just wish they'd show it longer on the model's hands, wrists, ears, etc. They seem to cut to the model, and then cut back to the display too quickly.

I just feel like he's too loud to be sitting down talking about jewelry.
I usually change the channel. His energy makes me tired.

I like Rick and jewelry shows. I like it when they put him with Judith Ripka. They are amusing together.

I don't know what it is. I can't turn off a Rick Show. Ever since that night....

I wonder why he took a jewelry show in the first place. In the old days the men took over the segments where a woman host done because either she was sick, and there was a lot of flu going around in the studio then, or some other reason. I remember watching Dan do a jewelry show for the first time and he seemed like a fish out of water.
Now Rick and Dan do it on a regular basis and I think it was to save their jobs IMO.

I don't care for Rick as a host, no matter what he's presenting. Too hyper and used car salesman like. The stuttering gets annoying as well.

I'm not a jewelry person, but I do know that men are prominent in the industry. Why, then, shouldn't a male host do a jewelry show? That is, of course, if he's educated on the subject.

@MarthaStewardessI think he sells in a frenzy to get us to buy in a frenzy. That's a complete turnoff for me.

I agree with you. That selling style is a turn off for me too.

Rick has been a host for jewelry on QVC for years. This is not a new thing for him to be a host for jewelry.
