IMHO To circumvent reading negative reviews qvc removes them by changing item# over-a change in color or very minor change.

It becomes difficult, if not impossible to find real reviews. I believe this is intentional on QVC's part -

and not so kosher.
I have cut and pasted item name into Google and older

item comes up. Old reviews can be accessed and legitimately evaluated.

@IMW If I knew the slightest thing about how to program a massive retail website, I might also begin to believe what you're thinking.

How would I know what the cost in programming time, broadband space, etc. would be to the corporation to add a color to their inventory and keep the same item number and reviews as before.  That might be pretty easy -  but I really don't have the knowledge.

Is there a difference when they change what's packed together with an item and the colors change, etc.  Again I have no idea.

Of course, the other thing I know is that when I go to other sites, I have zero idea how their reviews change from time to time  -  mostly because there's nothing on their websites for other posters to inform me!

Somehow I doubt QVC has made up this procedure all by their lonesome, but I do know that the best thing I've learned over my long years using the Internet as a shopping tool is to research the best I can and use my own judgment.  Lots of the info in many positive reviews is pretty worthless and lots of info in many negative reviews is also.

Even in the Forum which I read daily, so many "reviews" have nothing to do with anything that would persuade me to buy or not buy a particular item.  Fortunate for the last year at least, my own judgment has worked well
