Josie launched her new shampoo and conditioner this weekend. She already has a one-star review over the price. Why do they allow these reviews to post?

Darn it, already sold out so I can't see the cost. I was curious about it, as I saw her post on Instagram about it, just yesterday. How much was it?? ***Update****I just watched the video, forgot I could see pricing there. $45, not terrible for the set.***

I did buy the set of two spray oils yesterday. I used to buy more of her products, but hadn't in a while. I actually like other products, like the body butters, hand creams, etc, better than the actual Argon oil itself. This oil duo sold out too. Decent price, with free shipping (of course built into the price), and my hair dresser had just mentioned to me finding a hair oil, perhaps with argon oil in it, for some shine. I have another hair oil I love from Amazon, I only use on the ends, Josie's looks lighter, and I can use it on my body this summer too. Hope I like it.

I guess the shampoo/conditioner kit was in the same show but I didn't watch the whole thing. Anyone know how much it was?

"Fancy" hair shampoos & conditioners are so over priced these days. Thing is, many of them ARE that nice...and make a difference in my hair, but just so jacked up in price. I have a few favorites that aren't crazy expensive. The Eleven Smoothing shampoo off Amazon is one. Hot and Flashy likes a brand I can't think of now that is very expensive, I keep wanting to try at some point when I need more. I will say however, I also get great results from an older bottle of Suave/coconut I still have, along with a cocunut hair conditioner treatment from Trader Joes's about $9 a tube.

Maybe the reviewer bought the product elsewhere and didn't like it.

Reviews are handled by an algorhythm (usually third party), not by human beings. If it meets the algorhythm's requirements, it gets posted. 

This topic has been posted for years. Reviews aren't going to change. It's up to people to figure out what is and isn't a valid review or stop looking at them.
