A few days ago I submitted a review of A-589779. I bought 2 at a "this show only" price. Even at that, it was still too much. In the review that I gave two stars because it looks cute though I did state overpriced and the fabric was not good and that if it had been a cotton-rich material dress with pockets, it would be better. I also pointed out that the on-air presenters and on-line descriptions stated machine wash, tumble dry, yet the actual garment tag said to lay flat to dry which was too much trouble for sleep wear.
I'm wondering in the Q waits for some positive reviews on items before publishing negatives of if since it is now on clearance, are they hoping it will sell out and not need to show the review?

@SylvaBelle   As you can see by simply reviewing other reviews, unfavorable ones abound.  They have gotten very slow in posting them, however.  I used to see mine posted within an hour; now it takes days and days.

QVC never has placed as much importance on reviews as those of us who use them to make buying decisions.

Re: Reviews-Just Wondering

[ Edited ]

From reviews I have read, most importantly, ones where the poster never even purchased the item, tells me that QVC does not withhold any reviews, even one's they should.

I really prefer reviews from actual buyers, and posts noting sizing, fabric, and durability. I really don't like it when posters complain about the price. The buyer knew the price at the time of purchase so I feel it is irrelevant. That also goes for pockets, I believe it is unfair to the designer when somebody gives a poor review due to no pockets. It shouldn't have been purchased if that is what the buyer wanted. Also, when somebody states an item is too short/too long when it clearly states the full garment measurements. In addition, the focus should only be on the item purchased, not shipping, not the host, not the vendor, etc.

I really wish QVC would filter reviews better and only allow verified purchases.

Everyone has an opinion and should be allowed to state that opinion.  I like to know what the actual buyers think.  I don't want to make a mistake and have to send it back.  I always read what is posted if available BEFORE I buy and then using the information I make a  decision.  Better be safe than sorry.
