MY PSA for the day.and a new "wake-up" call for me. Something I did not know after many years ordering from QVC. For years I have been buying and returning, only to realize today (through customer service) that if you return multiple items in a box, you are charged the return fee of $6.95 for each and every item in one box. Even if you place one label on the box. So if you put a belt, socks and a shirt in one package, you will be charged for return fees on all three.
I was doing this forever, thinking I was saving plastic, paper, and yes money, in combining items. Also, now when you put one label on a box of multiple items, QVC's automated scanners may only give you credit for the item that is associated with that particular label and not the other contents. WOW!. If you notice, it is always harder to track returns then it is your purchases on the website.
This could be the reason that QVC is no longer giving return labels and spins the reason to being "saving paper"... I find it inconvenient to the consumer and this new practice will greatly impact my future spending with the company. At least Hsn still gives return labels as of now.

I've always been afraid of just that - that if you send multiple items in one box that you won't be credited for all of them and you can't track them. So now I only do that if they were sent to me in one box or bag or if they're from the same order.
I did know they charge you for each item separately.

Apparently now the return fee is set once your tiems are shipped, so if they combined orders or you did, they determine the label fee then not on what you were returning but on the weight of the box that was shipped out. So in other words if there were multiple things in an order and it weighed over the cetain amount they assign it the return label fee based on that weight not on the wieght of the itme you are returning. So if you had 5 things toghether and it weighed over the pound limit but only returned a tshirt from said order, they were charge you the predetermined label fee. I told them that doesn't follow what there policy sais after they felt the need to read to me. I said the tshirt did not weigh over 5 lbs but you are charging me like it does, they told me because that is what the label fee was. They just talk in circles to justify things when they know they are wrong. Returns just make a lot o money for them or they wouldn't make a new rules of their own policy.

They have always done this. What bothers me however, is that lately I have been getting multiple items in one package that are not multiples of the same item. Items that I have even ordered on different days are coming packaged together. Sometimes they barely fit in one of their bags then I have to pay to get a box or bag to send it back if I need to. They are just making it more difficult for me to continue to want to buy from them.

Charging for multiple return labels in one package has ALWAYS been the policy. I've done it but know I'll be charged. Luckily even though I buy a lot, I've barely had anything to return in several years, so it's not a big deal to me. I don't buy anything I think might not fit or I'm iffy on.

@Hoping for the best I was never charged more than one shipping fee for multiple items. I tape each packing slip to the corresponding item.

I have seen many, many posts over the years that say exactly what @spabar
said....they are NOT charged multiple return label fees.
I have never tried that as I do not return much...but I have seen many posts that say they do not get charged.
While returning 1 item Always costs me more than the return label fee, (USPS charges are based on distance as well as weight) you could consider paying the return shipping for multiple returns yourself. I bet it would be lower than $6.95 each item.
