Sparks, Nevada butts up against Reno.  It's almost as if they are the same city.

I am getting so many repackaged items now; I always thought those returned went to As Is to be sold at reduced prices but obviously this isn't true.

I return multiple orders (all clothing) in one package or box.  I ship through FedEx and the Q usually gets it from me in an a day or two.

Fed Ex is my all time favorite shipping company!  There's only the PO where I live and I would have to go to Tucson for any other option which is 30+ minutes away.

Thanks for the info on Sparks.  I wish I had their # as I would check on my packages myself.

@Jackhound Mom

The general rule is that we will credit you for the return if it has been 12 days since it was sent back to us. To save you some time AND inconvenience, if you ever have any queries regarding your returns (or anything else for that matter) please email the Social Team QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com and we will be happy to assist!

Thank you Beth!  I will try it with an order I would love to have looked at.

CS just told me yesterday that it was 17 days but I was told earlier last week that it was 12 days before a return could be credited.  All CS are not giving the same info.

Amazon handles returns this way.  As soon as the shipper scans it in, they process the refund.  I can't imagine Q ever doing it because they're too cheap to pay for UPS or FedEx.....even though a contract with either of them would result in the cost being the same as their slow pony express return labels.

@makenaWith returns, it's most likely some timing issue between the PO and QVC.

With shipments coming out of QVC, I can never figure out where the problem is.  Between AD shipments and new orders, I have 3 items heading my way.  One is coming UPS which lots of posters favor -  that package was due 2 days ago and UPS has the billing info, but they've done nothing since receiving that.  Yes, I did call CS and they will replace the order but asked for a few more days for UPS to act.  Does that mean UPS is at fault?  Sounds that way, but you couldn't prove it by me.

 The two packages coming via USPS were shipped timely and seem to be on target.  If, of course, they don't get lost along the way!

As far as Amazon goes - one thing to remember is that they have millions of Prime members who pay $99 up front who never would spend that much if they just paid their shipping along the way.  That gives Amazon huge dollars to ship products to others who order more and to build and stock more and more warehouses.

@millieshops, if UPS says "billing info received", it means they do not physically have the package from QVC yet, just notice that they intend to ship a package, so in your example the fault is with QVC, not UPS.

@DJs momYou're probably right, but after I wrote that, I called QVC regarding a stalled shipment.  From what that rep told me, it sounded as if UPS did nothing once they received the billing notice.  Peter Thomas Roth and QVC are going to end up losing that one sale because QVC's policy is to give UPS more time.  That part is certainly Q's fault unless it's Roth's company; no way to know that, but I just can't get into it.  Too bad because I love those products, and even if they sent a replacement, the timing for me is bad.  I'd wait if it weren't.

On the other hand - last week I made 2 orders -  YSV suns Monday, a Gerber top Thursday.  Both are out for delivery today, Monday.  They both started with tracking from the USPS exactly like the PTR kit, but the end is far better.  I certainly can't say why -  just that I'm pleased.
