Maybe less menopause talk and programming?

Re: Returning to Core Values

Since it'll be their 40th Anniversary, maybe they are going back to things that they did in the past.

Re: Returning to Core Values

She was just selling stuff and went into the conversation. I wasn't paying attention to what she was even selling but it sounded like she was genuine that they were trying. I don't see any changes coming but was impressed with her statement. At least they recognize there are problems.

@They CallMe MRWILKES , thanks. I can't find it now. Guess I probably shouldn't have said anything at all, I was just excited to think that they realized there were issues.

First of all, no matter what QVC does people will be unhappy. Everybody has a different idea what should change. When QVC  started there was no one on forums writing about who and what bothered you. Right now nothing seems to be changing, I turned it on last night and Amy was doing the bunny hop with who I think were the philosophy reps. That was, for me, the fastest channel changer ever.

"bunny hop" ROFLMAO   Shawn, is the worst how she manages to keep a job is one for the birds to answer.

I was watching Pat Dementri yesterday and she made a statement about QVC returning to their core values of Quality, Value, Convenience. Apparently, the powers that be may have realized there's a problem.

How did she come about to make the statement @Carolina925 ?  What prompted her to say that?

@San Antonio Gal.  That's what I was wondering.  Was Pat relating her own opinion of what the Q should do or stating a new official policy?

The video is still up, item a717854. Pat was selling Susan Graver essential pants and said "It is our promise to you that the Q  is returning to core values of quality, value, and convenience...." and the essential pants were an example of this return to value.
She was definitely speaking for the company and made it very official.

Re: Returning to Core Values

That would be "a day late and a dollar short."

If it EVER happened the first change should be their 40 year 7-10 day delivery.

Re: Returning to Core Values

I do wonder what core values are returning. First, they started down this one sided programming toward women over 50 and menopause. IMHO, it is very degrading and humiliating to continue down this dark hole..This is not a medical network but a shopping channel to purchase various items. It is way beyond time. to stop this nonsense. Whoever thought of this idea should be walked out the front door.

Secondly, it was my understanding this is not an entertainment channel where I come to watch singing and dancing. They have lost their core value of actually providing useful information on products their selling. How many times do we need to go over colors!! The quality of the hosts have gone downhill and many are ill prepared.

One of their main selling points was the prices are lower because they cut out the middleman. Apparently, now the middlemen have risen and want payment. So much fluff and so little to look forward to on this network.

When customers leave, the chances of returning is slim to nil. You have lost all interest and prices are not enticing.

@elated, well said on all points.
