Just because you are a disabled senior citizen doesn't exempt you from being a moral honest person. Common sense dictates that if you abuse the liberal return policy action will be taken. Why would you or anyone else return so many things and then still keep shopping at that place? It doesn't make sense. Sounds like you have a shopping addiction also. Find a place that suits your needs better. It does seem that you are the type to take advantage of any opportunity to file a lawsuit hoping the other side will settle so they don't have waste time with such frivolity. Doesn't make it morally right. The exact reason why companies have to raise prices for the rest of us!! Not being mean - just truthful!!

They are not discrimination against any class of people by monitoring their return rate, and by closing their account, if need be.
Don't forget, QVC has a room full of lawyers that scrutinize everything, every word, to make sure that it is legal. Plus, they have the $ to get a case stalled in court for years.
Oh, and btw, this is a "free" board. No one has the right, or ability to dictate what others post here.
That's webbie's job.

The salesmen tell us to send back anything we don't love...they don't want us to be unhappy. If I get something that doesn't fit, is clearly used sold as new, is trashed from sloppy packing, is defective, or if hideous, I am supposed to be able to return it. it is not a hobby! And when I used to shop at Ross, we returned tons of stuff and no one said a word. We also spent thousands there. And yes, I have experience filing lawsuits. I have experience winning settlements. I have experience winning in small claims. I have experience in winning money when I was injured in a store. And I could easily file against the doctor who destroyed my hand, but it is a lot of work. That is why I am in law school. On 7/8/2014 Pook said:So you have experience in filing lawsuits? You might have won but this one doesn't even make sense. Stores are now beginning to keep track of habitual returners....QVC is no different. It is frivolous lawsuits such as the one you are threatening that give lawyers a bad name and increase the prices of our goods. Thanks for all your efforts....NOT
. Remember, you started this thread and you have the right to ask that it be closed, but you have to know that you will get responses to your angry comments. QVC I'm sure does appreciate your business but threatening to pull your business probably doesn't mean squat to them. Your purchases are a drop in the bucket to their bottom line.

OP, you are the one with the problem and seem to expect special treatment because you are a disabled senior. You are not exempt from anything that others are expected to do just because of that. There are many with probably worse disabilities than yours (and I don't know what that is) who do not rant and rave and expect the world to accommodate them above and beyond. You are the one trying to bully QVC into giving you a settlement because you have a shopping problem and order too much claiming the items are used, defective, etc, etc, etc. While sometimes it might happen, It's just hard to believe you keep getting such items continually. To me it's sounds like you impulse shop or setting them up for this lawsuit by making false claims about the items. You say they won't want to bother with your lawsuit just insinuates that even you don't think you are right so even though you are wrong, you will get another settlement. That's sounds like blackmail to me!!! I would be ashamed to say I have won many lawsuits as the average person never even has one incident bad enough to warrant one. That's the mark of a dishonest person. I have fallen in stores as have many others but would never consider filing a lawsuit as accidents happen and sometimes a medical treatment just doesn't turn out and is really not the fault of the doctor and could possibly be the fault of the patient not following directions. All those frivolous lawsuits are what raises medical fees. It seems that filing lawsuits is you "hobby".

Yeah Pook!!!!!!!! Good explanation. The term "disabled" is so overused today....who isn't disabled???? Everyone has a malady which makes them disabled in their own way. I wonder if overspending and impulse shopping can be considered as a disability....????

How sad that the OP has to seek out members on this forum for attention.
Compulsive shopping won't help.
Excessive returning won't help.
Bashing QVC and other posters won't help.
Threats won't help.
Lawsuits won't help.
You have an emptiness inside you that none of this will fill.
Get some counseling. Enjoy life.

Anytime you've returned an item to QVC, did they refund your money?
If so, how are they violating their return policy? They aren't.
Every store keeps track of your returns and when you make too many, you can't return any longer.
I'm not sure what you being disabled as to do with anything.

Bravo!! QVC has refunded your money as they promised. However realizing that they can't please everyone all the time they caution you that the rate of returns for your account will not be tolerated. How is that not fair? You are warned. Look into your purchasing habits and move on with your life. Sitting on your pity pot complaining about being "disabled" and then ranting about your expertise with lawsuits on these boards shows how compulsive your behavior is. The only benefit from you being on here going over the same ground over and over and over is that perhaps it keeps you away from compulsive shopping for a few minutes.
