Is that with insurance?  The reason I use the label is that I have super long lines at our PO plus QVC has always credited me, if the package gets lost.  I do not want to deal with the PO, if they lost my package. Have you ever tried calling them?  It can be an hours long wait.  Trust me.

I have used both based on weight and size of return.  Mostly I send back on my own. My packages get to QVC quicker and I get my refund quicker.  When I use their label, the post office sometimes holds the package and it takes a long time before reaching QVC and thus a slow refund.

I don't return a lot, but always use the return label.  I experimented a couple times with my label and it was more.  I'm good with an occasional return being cheaper not using the prepaid label.
