I have had a problem with receiving my orders on time. For some reason when I follow tracking the package which is mailed from QVC through USPS ends up at wrong post office. The package then is routed to another post office before finally arriving. This only happens to me when it is mailed USPS. I have no problems with packages QVC sends by FedEx.

I think I would talk with my local post office.

@jeanea  It may be that it has to go to the hub PO before it can come to your local PO.  Sometimes the hub is not in the direct path to your city.......that's just the way it goes with the USPS and Surepost (UPS and USPS collaboration).

My last order (an in stock tank top) took 12 days to arrive from the PA warehouse to GA....pathetic.

I agree w/ @2blonde

Some postal areas use hubs.  If I ship to my work...it goes right past my city to another city 2 hours past me to the main USPS hub.  Then sorted and back again to my own post office...where it sorts another 2 - 3 days!  They do this with ALL the mail not just packages.

Makes absolutely NO sense to me but that is how the US Postal system works!

If I ship to my home, it goes directly to my home town post office and gets there several days faster.  Go figure!  I've learned to NEVER be in a hurry for a Q pkg!

I have stopped tracking my packages.  An item expected for today did not arrive, but I have learned that lately most items do not come when promised. My local post office is short- handed. In addition, Sure Post just annoys me.  Another surprising and recent issue includes a food item cancelled by the Q and an item that was supposed to have a set of two in the box ( collapsible storage containers) had only one. Customer service always has been helpful, but the little annoyances sometimes add up.

My packages go to the distribution center in the big city nearby then are sent to my small town post office for delivery.  This usually adds 2-3 dates but has taken as long as a week.  I think what the OP is experiencing is normal, not good but normal.

Items I order are taking longer to get to me, as well.  I have noticed that lately, items stay in the "IN PROCESS" mode for several days.  Their round about way of sending things to you just does not make sense to me.  I live in a big city, and there should be no problem sending things directly to me, instead of to other states, first, that are not even close to my state.

Re: Receiving orders late

[ Edited ]

All of my QVC orders seem to be taking longer after they are shipped than they used too. They are often "in process" longer too!
