So many posters know the answer to QVC's "problems."  They should try for a job in management.

I never tasted Rastelli breaded chicken cutlets so I cannot talk to their quality. What I can tell you is when I go to a restaurant in my area and take out breaded chicken cutlets it is the same price. Depends what you want.

Agree. I have purchased Rastelli's Wagyu Kobe-Style Beef Burgers and love them! Very easy and convenient to cook in my air fryer!

While I won't claim to be an expert, or to be a defender of QVC's prices, when I read these pricing complatints I have to stop and think that folks really need to remember that the cost QVC charges also includes the cost of shipping.   Most food items are shipped via next day air or two-day air ... and thst my friends is not inexpensive.

Just do some research ... shipping a one pound package for next day delivery via UPS costs an estimated $60-$120 depending on the destination.

Granted QVC, and other retailers do negotiate shipping discounts, but it's still an expensive part of doing business.

And just check what other purveyors of food items charge for their products (Goldbelly for example), and look at what they charge. The difference is that typically they don't include shipping in the cost of the food items but rather they add that amont at checkout since the shipping charges vary and are based on the delivery speed and the destination. The Q just charges one flat shipping rate regardless of destination.

I agree, these prepared food items aren't inexpensive ... but remember, you're paying for the food, the convience and the shipping.

We love some of the Q food items, and for some other not so much. The bottom-line is that if you can't afford it, don't buy it. If you can and you want it, then go for it.

I will go to my local Walmart, and a quarter of that price. There is no way to justify $100.00 for 12 checken cutlets!

Knowing what sells? So they alienate the customer base? Not everyone wants Kim Gravel and Susan Graver 24X7!

@rms1954

Walmart at least in our area has Perdue Organic Free Range chicken which is great and not available at the standard grocery stores. It's not "yuk".

I was thinking the same thing. Too much money for chicken cutlets. Most people can't afford the price of food on Q

While you're right that many people can't afford some QVC products, many people can.  I no longer buy something I like whether it's food or anything else just because I like it and can afford it.

I still have too many things in this house that I thought I needed at one time, but I'm very selective now.  New and exciting rarely fit the needs for which I shop.

This week I have seen ads from Rastelli on facebook (not qvc) saying they are coming to a supermarket near you. The ad showed ground beef, steaks, etc. vacume sealed packages, angus, grass fed, etc.  Picture only showed beef.  I will be on the lookout since I live in New Jersey and they ship to me from less than 2 hours away.  If I see it in my meat case I  will post.
