Please note that s/h changes on the TSV (Halston faux suede jacket) is $5.00 vs. the $3.00 that was rolled out for most clothing when they restructured s/h fees (after taking away reduced shipping on multiple items and no longer refunding original s/h fees).  They giveth and then taketh away and then some.  S/H is creeping up - in many cases what used to be $3.00 is now $3.50 and what used to be $5.00 is now $5.50.  Just beware.

The shipping changes went into effect almost 18 months ago.  Did you expect them to remain the same forever even though the prices of most things we purchase (from QVC and elsewhere) have gone up?

When was the last time you personally shipped a package?  You probably paid a lot more than QVC charges, and the cost for QVCnalso include pakaging, labor, and insurance.  In reality, it's really a bargain.

@KYToby  This kind of defensive post makes me suspect -- someone or someone's relative works for the Q.

As a matter of fact, I do think shipping costs should go down -- in view of the tough competition out there in retail land, most companies are jumping on the "free S/H"

bandwagon. It's all absorbed into the higher prices as it is.

My only beef with their shipping is when you buy multiples of the same thing and are charged shipping on each one.

The new rates have always been 3.00 or 5.00.  What rate is charged depends on the item.  However, I did notice the .50 increase.

QVC has to realize that Amazon Prime is competition for some of what it sells. For example, Amazon sells many of the shoes and handbags QVC does. BUT, Amazon Prime has free two-day shipping. The same thing from QVC probably costs $5 to ship and arrives in a week or more. QVC needs to look at lowering, not raising, its shipping prices and speeding up the shipping department.

This is why I have bought less from QVC. I saw an item I wanted the other day at a decent price but the shipping handling was way too much for me to buy the item.

If I'm being charged full shipping when I order more than one of the same item, then I expect both to be shipped in separate boxes, not both in the same box. If you are going to do that, then reduce my S&H charges on one item. I received one item as described here. There have been times that I have thought twice about ordering items because of the S&H charges. And yes, S&H are slowly creeping up, fifty cents here, 50 cents there, will soon turn into a dollar. So much for the reduced rates.
