I really like Rick. I don't think that he gets hyper on purpose. He really likes to ask the  vendors questions about the product.....think he likes to make sure he covers everything about the product so we can understand the best way to use it.

I like Rick too.....i used to get crazy when he talked so fast.....but then i noticed he has a slight stutter when speaking and i think when he talks quickly it helps him

not to stutter as much....so ok w/it now...

@January121  IMO Rick is much better host than most of the females. He is a really good presenter, gets the info of the products to the viewers and is pleasent, funny respectful and a real joy to watch. He totally gets it. His time on air is about the product and the consumer. It is not look at me I am such a beautiful diva, ot my daughters are dancers. I hope he will be there until he gets ready to retire when he decides it is time.

To each his own. I don't enjoy Rick anymore.

I like Rick. He does talk fast but he is good at his job and the shows moves fast. Please please just don't put him together with with JT. With both of them together I just couldn't handle it.

I have to  change the station when he is on.  To loud and he thinks he knows everything.  Interrupts the guest when they are talking .  My buying on QVC is slowing down.

I posted this several years ago, and I still feel the same way.  I saw an online chat with former QVC host Paul Kelly.   I think his careful and respectful... but cogent and informative...  brief comments on the change in the atmosphere and the selling style/culture at QVC said a lot about changes some of us who have watched off and on over lots of years have seen or sensed.

The interesting thing is that he made those observations in 2020, and we continue to see those changes right now.  (I'll try to find the video and share it if it's still available.)

It's a different world from the original QVC days, and the pressures are significant.

I've always liked Rick, still do.
I can understand that his energy and ebullience can overflow and overwhelm at times so it's not everyone's cuppa tea, but I enjoy his presentations.😉

I found this video with Rick to be worth watching.

Perhaps a different side of the host, a side we don't have the opportunity to see when the sales tote boards and anxious production staff are directing the action.

(just search for the video title if you prefer not to click on links)

Best of all he saves me money. I shut it off when he’s on. Thanks Rick keep on presenting so I can limit my viewing.

@dooBdoo Thank you for sharing that video, it shows you the son, the dad and the man outside of the public eye.
