If you haven't checked it recently QVC has recently revamped the Program Guide---
I think it was to better feature and show the programming for all 3 channels at once, instead of havin tabs for each channel....What's interesting about the new guide is they now show which host will be presenting the show (which is something many have asked for, and something HSN has done for a long time).......I wonder if this information will impact viewing habits and help people either tune in or avoid a show based on the host and their opinon of such person.......INTERESTING!

@Spurt I am not fond of the new program format at all. I am only able to get the main program on my TV and I don't watch anything on my computer. Also, I don't need the host pictures at all. They don't influence anything for me, although some I will not watch and turn the channel if they pop up.
I thought it was easier and less time consuming to use the program feature before.

You are right, the format itself is clunky to use. QVC's problem is how they perceive themselves versus what is reality.....
Since the younger demographic watches everything on their phones/tablets these days, QVC thinks their 45 and up audience does the same.....So even if a Cable company doesnt carry Q2 they think everyone will be watching it on their computer, phone, or tablet......BUT from all the many comments Ive read here, thats not the case....If their cable company doesnt carry Q2 they just dont flat watch it, nor do they use an electronic device to watch Beauty IQ either, as we can see by them still flooding Q and Q2 with endless beauty products........
So I think all these gimmicks to try to draw in a younger demographic have failed...They can, as Aerosmith said, DREAM ON thinking that it will, it isn't working....JMHO
As for the hosts.....while I dont watch a Q Show just to see a particular host, (they are just sales people and aren't my friend) for me this works in the negative----If their Program Guide reflects a particular host that annoys me, even if Im interested in the product, I will not tune in.....

I like that they are showing who the host is. In that case, I can know when not to watch. However, I'm not much interested in knowing what's on the other channels, since I don't watch them. So, at this point, I kind of prefer the HSN format, where you get to know who the host is, as well as the vendor. I don't need the pictures of the hosts, but for people who don't watch a lot, some might find that helpful.

- If I look at the "Weekly View" it is easier to "comprehend."
- The view with the hosts' faces is "too much to take in."
- But there is one plus to the new format, when I see a host with short, brunette hair in particular, I simply will not watch~!
Yep, that is a PLUS for me too.....based on each individual's own host likeability scale... A couple of blondes do that for me ..... ![]()

Check your version of FireFox is it a 32 bit or 64 bit....???
What I found out was that there was a lot of bugs with the Firefox version they released last October, and when they sent out a patch, it changed some of the browsers from 64 bit to 32 bit of their update. Although I had the latest Firefox version it was a 32 bit on Firefox, but a 64 bit on Chrome. I updated my Firefox to 64 bit and it brought up the old guide but 5 seconds later it changed it to the new version of the program guide.....
Anyway see if that option works for you......
