I'm so glad you brought this up, I'm beginning to panic. I haven't returned but just a few items in the past 25 years. But in the last six months there have been a few.  QVC has always been very good to advise when USPS/UPS scans the return barcode,  with a update they received it. I've got about a half a dozen items stretching back to May I have no idea their status.

I called last week to talk to CS and decided to give it a little more time. I have nothing to prove that I returned these items other than I completed the packing slip, put their label on the original packaging, and took it to USPS or UPS.

Doesn't QVC do a monthly recap of purchases and returns?

@Bhvbum - there is a tracking number on the label. Also, if you go to your account, and click on the order, there is an option to track your return.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

@Bhvbum  You should have DEMANDED a receipt.  Same has the tracking #(s) on it.

When I go to the post office there is a huge bin just like a mail slot that you put your package in. There is no one there to give me a receipt.

@Bhvbum - you have to hand it to a clerk, and they will give you a receipt. Another option is to schedule a pickup from your home.

UPS and USPS can scan your label and give you a receipt each time you take it to them.

@Bhvbum Send an email to:  QVC EasyReturns@QVC.com. Tell them the item & order number of your return and you should hear back within a few days with your refund.

This is what I do each time I make a return and always get my refund in a few days.

I'm just about done with QVC returns myself.  I have four items that I'll be returning today going to the UPS store and using the QR code.  That's not the problem.  That's the easy part.  What I can't stand is handing over your item, getting a receipt, and then waiting three weeks for QVC to even acknowledge your return.  It's absolutely maddening not knowing.  I guess I'm spoiled by Amazon and other retailers.  Once they scan your return, you get an email immediately that your refund/return is in the works.

Why can't QVC do this?  I feel like returns are just a big, black hole.  Maybe you'll get refunded, maybe you won't, but you'll most definitely wait a long time to hear back from them.

I do as well   @San Antonio Gal

Go online to USPS.com

Schedule a free pick up.

Get a confirmation email

Stick in mailbox (or designated place)

Get another email when it is picked up.

I now have 2 proofs of return.

Yes it's an extra step but you don't have to worry about handing over the item to a person behind the counter and getting a receipt.  It's very easy to do from the comfort of your home.....at least you will know within a few days.

@haddon9 Thank you so much.  It is an extra step, but well worth the little bit of effort.  I will mention that I find it unacceptable that they do not acknowledge your return status in a timely manner.  I don't understand this company.  They've been in the game a LONG time.  You would think they'd have it all figured out by now.

Besides getting a slip or e-mail proof then I hand to the mail carrier or UPS carrier, OR take to the PO or UPS STORE, I always always keep either a screen shot or take a pic with my phone of the items in the package and then the package with the label on it.  Easy.  Also easy to keep a copy of the label when you print one.

I always take a screen shot of the e-mail or message of the label so I can resize and print it easily from my word processing software.  So I store that too in my computer files until the refund is made.

@Bhvbum  I have never heard of a PO or a UPS office w/no humans to help you.  What do you do if you need to purchase stamps or any type of special (ex:  over night) deliveries?

You are correct the post office does have an inner office you can go to to stand in line for 20 minutes to hand your item to the agent, and get a receipt.  But when I come in early in the morning or in the evening to mail my package in the past, I've always put it in the bin with no problems.  Just more inconvenience because of QVC not doing their job.
