Macys doesn’t send labels now but their computer system is different and easy. Not malfunctioning like QVC’s. It may be a trend but if it’s faulty like this then I’d rather go back to the old days with labels mailed to customers.

I’m not sure if this was functioning either but thank you for the information.

Amazon is terrific. They give you numerous return choices. I’m a Prime Member. I can take an unwrapped item to the UPS Store which is near me and they scan the bar code and wrap and send it. This QVC thing is a whole different story. The website isn’t working. There is no back up solution except maybe going to the post office and I’m not going to do that regularly. They should not discontinue sending labels until they have the computer return page functioning. I have never seen a company like this.

@misschristy    We've had several discussions about this.  The trend in the industry is to discontinue return labels and invoices.  I got shoes from Zappos last week with nothing but shoes in the box.  I've never gotten an invoice from Amazon.  I'd be surprised if QVC ever goes back to including them.

You can make your own return form by simply printing the information from Order Status on a sheet of paper.  Most important is the order #.

You can also make a return address label on your own.  I use a 3 X 5 card.  You can find the address to which it should be sent, depending on where you live, in the customer service section.

It seems OP may be looking for the pre-paid return label QVC sends or was available on our account page. If that is the case, creating her own label isn't the solution to her problem.

@DJs mom   It'll solve one problem, it'll get the darn package back to QVC.  She isn't going to get a prepaid label so its her only alternative.

@misschristy    Good luck getting a label.  Plenty of people have been told they're not available.

@Sooner   I no longer really trust USPS. We do not get mail delivered every day in my neighborhood and NO it's not because we just didn't get mail any particular day. Some weeks we go days with not one USPS truck in the area.

Not only this but I would not trust my mail person to take anything from me I returning and feel confident that s/he will actually take it back to start the return process. Why? I would be so fearful the mail person would pull out my return and drop it at someone else's house in total error.

I cannot even coulnt on USPS to actually deliver my mail to ME at MY house. Just this week I received 3, count them THREE emails indicating my packages were delivered.

NOT AT MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I found them tossed on the edge of the porch floor IN THE RAIN at the house NEXT DOOR. They were soggy and wet from the rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This isn't the first time this has happeened either.

I literally had to sneak out of my house in my raincoat to get MY mail from the neighbor's porch in the DARK so no one hopefully didn't see me "LIFT" my own mail from someone else's house. Yep it was all mine with my name AND address with MY house number on the address label.

No, I have very little faith in USPS. Any returns I have, bills I pay and send out I personally take to my local USPS building and hand off to them. I ALSO ALWAYS stand in line for a receipt with tracking number so I can follow the progress. This is worth my time and trouble. I should not need to do this but I do.

And oh, by the way, I no longer walk to a closer mailbox to drop my mail in it for USPS to pick up. That box outside the post office I go to was recently broken into too. I went there one day earlier spring only to find it roped off with police tape and opened mail, envelopes tossed all over the sidewalk. So yeah, I DO NOT do this anymore either.

@Monstercat   Funny (or not so much), I just got a package with two d&co dresses with no invoice/label/statement in this package either. This means I now need to get out my printer, pull up my order, and print out my own return paperwork.

Why should I have to do this?

I've been know to create my own info and label to return stuff. A hassle yes but we can all do this.

Re: RETURN LABELS

[ Edited ]

You may not get a bill enclosed with amazon but they do let you go on line and start the return and they email you a barcode to take to the Kohls to drop off.  Certainly much cleaner and simpler.  This is crazy that QVC can't get the computer program to text or email us a bar code.  That would be at the very least a help.

It seems strange that the customer service person is unable to email me!!!  How do they send me so many emails about upcoming events and sales???!!!

I reached Customer Service on Thursday to get a printed return label for an item that came without an invoice. I was not aware that the inability to pull up a return label with a barcode from the website was a known problem, but that was my problem. I do not have a working printer right now anyway, and I am not going to pay DOUBLE to return using my USPS account. I was promised a label via e-mail, never got it. (Yes, I immediately checked my spam filter.) Waiting for the mailed copy, not here yet. I will be past the 30 days if I ever get a return label. CS rep said I would get a pass - but she also said she e-mailed my label using the e-mail address QVC has had for 30 years!
