I have a curious question. I was looking at the video again for the Berkshire cape and noticed when the camera showed a certain angle of one of the windows in the presentation room. It looked like there was snow on the ground. I noticed this in a couple of other videos also. Has it already showed on that side of the state. Just curious .... having a nose problem today!!!I

And, I know this subject has been beat to death, but I have looked at the Berksire video several times and I just can't make a decision. I am not trying to be mean and I apologize if I come across that way BUT the host (Shawn) keeps jumping around with the cape like Batman and then the other host came in with that toboggan (?) on her head and the two of them start talking drawing my attention away from the cape.

I realize this Christmas show was meant to be for fun and several of you enjoyed it. We all have different taste and likes/dislikes. I watch the different presentations for the merchandise. No other reason. If I am watching it is because I am interested in buying. Theatrics and rolling your eyes or dancing is not going to convince me to buy. Give me the details and a show of the product and tell me the pros/cons of the product. As I have said before I am not young. I do not want to waste my time on buying something to have to return it because I did not have a clear  "picture" of what I was buying.

Maybe the next time QVC wants to have a "slumber party" they would consider having products more in line with a "fun" and "happy party" theme. That way for those of us that are only interested in the merchandise and not a "party* could completely avoid watching and possibly avoid the "mean" comments. Just a suggestion.

I have the item number. I just can't see a good enough view. It would have been nice if someone had modeled the cape like they do the other clothing lines. After all, it is a cape. That is considered a type of clothing, right?

it is a 58" x  64" throw with a slit from one side to the middle.  this allows for it to be worn over the shoulders and drap down the front.  the front has two pockets.

this type of item has been around for a long time.

@Sheila P-Burg

Only addressing your question about snow on the ground when looking out the windows, these are sets in the studio, what you see in the windows are just pictures.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Thank you! They do a really good job. Looking through the "window" the scenery looks so real. Very nice!

Question for TheMemphisVette ..... I am not familiar with this type of cape. Would it be warm enough for outside or just inside. I was looking for something to throw on when the temperature gets to 25/40 when I have to run out to get my mail.

I bought a Berkshire cape last year and when I saw the new plaid cape offered this year, I wished I had waited until this year to buy one because I like the plaid (mine is a solid color)!  Anyway, I don’t know how weighty this year’s version is but mine from last year is very thick and heavy.  But since I live in the Midwest it does keep me warm in the house in the winter when watching tv or reading.  I could definitely throw it over my shoulders to run out to the mailbox and back but I would never wear it out and about because it looks like I draped a heavy blanket on me.
