Question about the dusters

[ Edited ]

I was curious if anyone purchased these years ago from HSN?  If so , Do you still have them, and have you purchased the new ones?   I have the old ones from many moons ago, and I was curious if the new ones would be better?

I have these plant shelves that I use to clean them with.  If the new ones are better , I am going to order.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Question about the dusters

I never purchased from HSN but recently purchased the 2 sets from QVC.  Duster w/long handle to clean ceiling fans and duster w/normal length handle plus 2 dust cloths.  Love the set.  I am selling one to a friend.  I wanted to give to her but she wants to pay me.  I love the way the dust adheres to the duster until you shake outside.  Cat Very Happy

Thank You @Katcat1   They are made out of something different  (the old ones)  I am thinking the microfiber would hold the dust better.

When I first got the old ones , I am not sure QVC even existed.   I was so excited to clean , I took the tall one and put it up to my lligt in the Foyer and to me shock  LOL  It melted.  I could not get the duster off of the light till hubby got home.  Dummy me trying to dust with the lights on.   duh

@BalletBabe,  I have done some of the most idiotic things in my lifetime but you look back and laugh about it.  I think you will like the Microfiber dusters from QVC.  The dust cloths are awesome for wiping tv screens; phones; computer screens and you just need the cloth.  Cat Very Happy

Re: Question about the dusters

I don't know if you ladies are talking about the Campanelli duster set or something else but as far as the Campanelli set I got those at least a year ago and I thought they were doing a great job until one day the way the sunlight was shining in I could see that as I used them the dust was flying all over instead of adhering to the duster. I use the cloths for various things but have deep sixed the dusters.

@BalletBabe, you must be referring to static dusters. Yes, they cannot take any heat. I use them now only on things or areas that I can't reach otherwise.

For regular dusting, I use microfiber cloths and also a Swiffer.

I got the Campanelli's and was also disappointed, @shaggygirl. They were not holding onto the dust like promised and saw they were just smearing dust.

Received my dusters today and I love them.  No comparison to the old ones that I bought 20 years ago.   I am going to clean clean clean tomorrow.

Also note:  I received them in two days!
