I ordered an item 1/27 on QVC.  Oh 1/29, I ordered an item from HSN.  The HSN one shipped today.  The QVC one still in process.

HSN gives you until midnight to cancel.  QVC you cannot cancel usually once you order, then they keep it in process for sometime a week more.

I expect this, but I needed the item from QVC or I would not have order from them.

HSN is much more efficient with shipping. I placed a HSN order on January 25, it was delivered on January 28. It takes QVC that long to process an order.

Im receiving many HSN items shipped from the QVC warehouse in Bethlehem warehouse so I don't think its the company makes a difference.  More like the availability and workload

I just cancelled an order I placed shortly before 10am.  It's  now about 3:30pm my time.  That's good enough for me.

The item I ordered from the Q on 1/27 is still IN PROCESS. So far the item i ordered from HSN two days later has been shipped.  My Petco order came to me in two days after shipping.  My Amazon in one day. Even Chewy.com order came in withing three days after shipping, which only took one day to ship. What is wrong with the Q.

I would not have ordered from the Q if the item was not needed and a good price?

That is 7 days in process and it says today is the delivery date.

They must have a low employee status.

At least they should allow for cancellation if they can't get item out in time.

Just venting because its frustrating the way this company does business.

It is very disturbing to read all the posts from shoppers who continue to complain about the way QVC does business and their problems. Everyone has read the same posts about ordering, delivery problems, etc that you may endure when you shop at QVC. In that case you know what the consequences might be and you should take full responsibility for your misfortunes.

I haven’t watched HSN in years. I looked up paper clip necklace there yesterday. They had so many. I think they are much better for jewelry. QVC almost got rid of jewelry. Just JAI and some basics. I also think HSN is more customer friendly, based on what was said above about having till midnight to cancel and quicker service. I also think the hosts are more professional and give more information instead of just saying colors and things are fun. Carolyn Gracy and Jayne are both very professional and maybe a few others.

My comment to Mr. Sour is that if you don’t complain and express opinions then you are just a complacent follower. You can apply that to any aspect of life. It’s not a good thing to be. I might add, I cut down on my purchases because of QVC’s failings except when Candice Cameron Bure was on recently. I love her youthful styles that are shorter in length for people like me who are 5’3”.
