I can't believe I'm posting this on the forums, but since customer service will not provide an email address for me to send my concerns to, here you go:

QVC, you are a MAJOR online retailer. You have a HUGE account with UPS. You also charge exorbitant shipping rates when compared to most other online retails. And yet, despite charging these high shipping rates the customer receives no benefit.

I requested a delivery intercept today. Not a big deal given the technology UPS utilizes nowadays. In fact, I just did the same thing with a Nordstrom.com package last week. The item was out for delivery, going to the incorrect address, and I contacted Nordstrom customer service where the rep was more than willing to make the two minute phone call to UPS to have the package intercepted and rerouted to the different address.

Were you, QVC, willing to do this? No. You refused. Apparently you are too cheap to offer this service to your customers. Of course the cost you would incur for this service is negligible, given how large of an account you have with UPS. Yet, you will not extend this service to your customers. Nordstrom will do this. They didn't charge me anything to do so. And you know how much they charged to ship the item in the first place? Nothing. Nada. Zip. (oh yeah, and they do FREE RETURNS too) How much did you, QVC , charge me? $7.72 on a $60 item. That's over 10%. And you don't even process orders quickly despite the high shipping fees. This order in question is to de delivered at day #9.

QVC powers at be, you probably aren't listening, but here's what I have to say anyway. Your product offerings aren't unique. And you charge high shipping fees and do not offer good service. Why should I continue to patronize QVC? ...yeah, I can't think of any reason either. I will take my business elsewhere. You can continue to pray on the non-tech savvy homebound people, who don't realize the myriad of quality online retailers that are out there. Other retailers whom offer lower prices, free shipping and superior customer service.

I'd like to see your response. But since you aren't even willing to provide your customer service reps an email address for me to write to, I'm guessing you won't tolerate my criticism here either.

They won't see this - write a letter to QVC Customer Relations, at 1200 Wilson Drive West Chester, PA 19380 - I wrote a letter to them there and actually got a phone call in response. Try it - it will probably make you feel better. I told them exactly what I thought about a few things, and they did respond. Hope this helps...

Since you are aware of other "superior" online retailers with better pricing, cheaper shipping, and better customer service, why did you order from QVC in the first place?

Did QVC somehow change the address to an incorrect one, or did you enter the incorrect address, review the address, and confirm the order?

As long as I know in advance, what the shipping charges and EDD will be, easy enough to decide, whether I want to buy.

Love Nordie's, but, with their prices, free shipping and returns, are a fairly small perk.

I initially thought I must have selected the wrong ship-to address, at the moment my billing and ship-to are different. This can be an easy mistake to make, as I did with the Nordstrom order. However, I thought I was careful with all my QVC orders. I placed several Q orders at around the same time and out off all five this one order was the only one with the wrong address. As it turns out though, it was QVC's error. My order was delivered today to my correct address, which is different than the one QVC was showing. QVC was just displaying the wrong address, I don't know why this would happen. So it all worked out.

Even if had been my mistake, it still would have been an easy fix for QVC to do.

That said, I still think QVC has lousy service after this experience. I didn't have a bad experience with QVC until now. Pretty much the only thing I will order from QVC will be WEN and Philosophy TSVs that I cant get elsewhere.

And, just an FYI I don't find Nordstroms to be that much more than QVC. Sure they have some higher end stuff, but plenty of their merchandise is in a similar price range. And there are some GREAT deals to be had if you shop their anniversary sale which is every summer. Good deals on NEW fall merchandise (cosmetics, shoes, handbags, clothes, etc).

I totally agree with the poster. The same thing happen to me with the Q and Nordstrom. Not the wrong address, but in returning items. Nordstrom and Amazon gives their CS so much more headway than the Q. I have gone from big shopping at the Q for twenty years, to very , very little, just down to a face cream or the garden rose and flower feed. They give nothing to their customers.

I agree, OP, that this outfit is no longer anything special, and also concur that their volume, while likely extensive, probably isn't so extensive that they couldn't have intervened in a shipping snafu... Their entire method of dealing with any shipping glitch whatsoever appears to be 'wait and see'. Otherwise, I've usually found their customer service to be relatively sound.
