Unless it's repeat programs. Quite unusual.
This is copied from the program guide starting on 12/23.

@Foxxee Very interesting but I think it's a mistake as no original programming would be happening on Christmas Day.

My guess is that it is recorded programs.
I noticed when Florida was on a Hurricane warning a while back that HSN said up on the upper right hand screen that it was a recorded presentation.

That's the way it was last year too. All of the shows were reruns from 4p.m. on the 24th til 8a.m. on the 26th.
In years previous to that they would have shows like the West Chester Christmas Parade, show hosts showing the Christmas decorations in their homes, favorite dishes to cook for Christmas, etc. Then, last year they stopped that, and ran the reruns of shows, attempting to sell items on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

It's probably pre-recorded shows on Christmas. But even if it is business as usual on Christmas Day, so what? That wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Not unusual, at least no different from last year's repeat programming on the afternoon of Christmas Eve and all Christmas day -- as @Largoman stated.
I think that's why QVC made the movie this year. Something else to watch on one of their other platforms.
Last year they re-ran their Christmas animated show they made a couple of years ago, and the Yule Log playing Christmas music. They also had Meredith Laurence doing mini cooking classes in several videos on the streaming channel.

Yes, those were the days. I guess we'll never see them again.
