I have a wish list, like many of you and I continue to keep track of QVC prcing.  One day the prices are low-next thing I know there they go up again!  If an item doesn't sell at the lower price why mark it up?

I think most stores do this.  Macy's, for example, is constantly having "sales" and the price of items change repeatedly.

Ever checked prices at Amazon? They seem to do this daily. Annoying, unless prices are cut and stay that way.

The only things I buy at full price are some items from Linea, as I love them and my size often sells out- even at full price.

I think many stores do this. Chicos and WHBM are notorious for having their clothes at dozens of prices at various times. They go up and down multiple times before they sell out. Macy's and others are now being sued for having so-called sales that are not really sales, since the items were never at the original price.

I had a couple of things in my wish list that went down a couple of nights ago.  Before I could decide whether to order or not, they went back up.  I don't think it makes any sense either, but I just leave things in my wish list.  Sooner or later, they'll go back down again!  And if they don't, I don't need them that badly.

I have relayed part of the saga of The Pants. Over the course of one week they went from $18 to $24 to $17 to $16.  Always listed as clearance price.  I don't see stores change their tags four times in one week.
