I'm sure they all take turns off or working during the Holidays. It's the only fair way to do it so each of them can spend time with their families during the holidays.

When I was growing up, I used to call noon - 1 PM the Thanksgiving Breakfast. My mother did like it.....then my aunt took over that holiday and made it Dinner !

We always had Thanksgiving dinner at our regular dinner time, which was between 5:00 and 6:30. Growing up, and for 40+ years of marriage, I've never eaten my main meal at noon or 1:00.

Anyone know if the hosts get time and a half on Thanksgiving? I surprised Leah Williams had to host right during the dinner hour considering she is a seasoned host.maybe a moderator can chime in on QVCs pay policy.
I think that everyone that works for the Q needs to tell us how much they make. LOL It is the least they can do for us on Thanksgiving.

I would hate to eat Thanksgiving meal late in the day and then have to clean up and go to bed. Sounds awful to me.

No doubt they are salaried so overtime wouldn't apply. It might for phone operators if you care about them.

@Reever Why would it be anyone's business how another person is paid or how much? Isn't that something that is very, very personal information that is strickly shared with a spouse, accountants, attorneys, brokers, tax preparers and investment advisors (all of whom work together in most cases)?

Most likely the hosts are salaried workers. They are the talent of the company.

@BirkiLady I thought I was the only one astounded by a viewer calling QVC to find out about their employees' compensation package, which includes whether they get time & a half. Wonder about it, fine, but to actually call or ask the moderators to tell you???
