Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

The bragging about the company being set to be successful now is like a gambler in Las Vegas who brags about winning $2,000 at poker but fails to mention he lost $10,000 at the other casino venues.

There's more than 1 issue to be dealt with.

Yes, minimizing debt helps but doesn't begin to resolve the myriad of problems that got them here in the first place. Without an entire overhaul, it just delays what is likely inevitable, as we know it anyway.

Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

Whichever direction the Q goes to suceed. Most likely cutting the cord on over the air broadcasting to a larger footprint in digital and social media platforms, I'm ok,with that. I do not watch much over the air broadcasts but prefer using the app, Instagram and Tik Tok for all my purchasing . I will continue to buy on QVC as long as they have:

* The vendors I like

* Competive pricing

* Exclusive bundles

* Unique items that are not like other retailers

* Discount coupons

*Free shipping promotions

Lets hope the new management team can succeed in its mission!

 Abt a year ago Rosina was on more fashion and beauty shows .Now she is on less and alot of clearance shows. I thought she was  involved in a Spanish speaking promo by QVC but ??? Maybe she wants a part time schedule ? I  remember how it was when I had a toddler , then school age child. I worked different shifts so I could be home to accomodate my childs schedule.

@skatting44  Her mother lives with her, so I don't think that's an issue.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I would miss it if QVC didn't broadcast on cable. At least we can still watch on .com.

@They CallMEMRWilkes

But if the NEW board keeps the CEO until the official end of his contract

Then they wouldn’t have to Almost Triple his salary ? Right ?? 🥴

Wouldn’t it be wiser to do that and have control over his decision making ??

Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

Rawlinson's Contract has an automatic one year renewal,  unless either party gives advanced notice.

If QVC gives advance notice I suppose that's termination and he'd collect his parting gifts.

If he decides to leave voluntarily I don't think he collects anything special or extra.

So maybe they could do something to make him want to leave and drive him out!

Hosts so unnecessary. Use the representative from the product.
The majority of them have become rude and annoying to the point of just mut I ng the TV or looking at products on line .

Re: QVC needs a hosts shakeup

I notice hosts are extra hyper and pushing sales very very hard.

I don't believe the changes are going to be pleasant for the customer.
