I've had a couple posts/threads zapped into nothingness when I was enjoying the exchange of opinions of all sorts (except the downright mean ones). If QVC believes our talks or debates or opinions need grade school monitoring I don't need that and thus I will go elsewhere to seek adult conversations & debates about anything & everything under the Sun (a Star!). If people are treated like children who lack social & verbal boundaries that's exactly how they will act. My recent post about IT cosmetics presenter came at an inconvenient time --- preceding at least 5 of her shows in one day. That is a kind of "propaganda" because the positive "I LOVE IT COSMETICS & JAMIE" posts are still going strong. Bottom line it's all about image, sales & $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I clearly remember some of your threads. In fact, I still miss a wonderful and very kind poster who, to my knowledge, never returned after one in which you played a very mean provocateur.

Given your distaste regarding a privately owned message board, I think that your decision to find another venue for your "adult conversations & debates" is a wise one.

Oh Boo Hoo!! What are we --- still in high school? (actually I enjoyed more freedom of ideas & opinions debates/exchanges as a college freshman back in the 1960's!!!) I don't practice personal attacks on others' beliefs or faiths or any orientation. I voice my opinions and thoughts here --- or is this just a sorority or, worse, private exclusionary club/church ---- on what I believed to be a FORUM. A Forum in which to express & exchange adult viewpoints on what clearly exceeds QVC Shopping! Good grief --- I'm amazed & often stunned by many O/T posts here. So as far as QVC Standards & Guidelines go, where is the Line and who is drawing it? You? Your overly sensitive poster friend? Please! A Mean Girls clique here needs to get pushed off their Pretty Petty Pedestal. Do me a favor & keep me updated on all the offended posters who are afraid to speak up supposedly due to something I said! That's a real ego boost for me-- wow! Such power I have.

Even though vendors & hosts are only allowed to write and comment on their BLOGS only, and are not supposed to write or comment on the Forums, I think the vendors/hosts must take a peek because the Poof Fairy is particularly active about posts on upcoming vendors/products and you notice threads are deleted at an accelerated rate ....JMHO

But even on websites where negative remarks about QVC, hosts, & vendors are allowed, they too have a list of standards and rules that must be followed----it just comes with the territory .... if you want totally uncensored start your own forum/website or go to sites that don't have any rules....I bet those are rare because of the slander, defamation liability possibility.....

----- Thanks for the suggestions. I've decided to stick around here because QVC Forums exemplify the nationwide trend of "my way or the highway" (to quote another sharp poster!). It's easy to go on Twitter and say whatever the luck we want. I believe that's also a private site with Rules & Standards. I have my own Rules & Standards (why not?). This huge group of "any subject goes" posters just fascinates me and frankly some people need some cold water splashed in their airbrushed faces (please wear Mallys waterproof eye makeup first!). My personal motto is "What others think of me is none of my business". I respect others' right to think & say what they want here --- I think we're all over the age of 5 --- and I also honor everyone's right to disagree and (whoa!) criticize without meanness. I'll be Back.
