LMAO please go actually read the constitution. Free speech only forbids government from limiting the free speech of citizens. Just as you have the legal right to limit speech in your own home, QVC has the legal right to limit speech in it's private home here.

There certainly are ways of getting around the moderators and the rules if you want to point something out they may not care for or to complain about QVC and the hosts. No one wants to be exposed to abusive language or posters being down right rude and mean. I like to read all the posts and don't mind if there's a typeo or words misspelled or incorrect grammar or punctuation. I'm happy the people who delighted in pointing those things out have moved on.

Yes, this is a private board I agree (you can't say what you really want to). The problem like posters mentioned in C.C., is that the posts that are removed are very inconsistent. Replies are subjective between mods. One may think it's fine, the other not. Also, some posters say basically the same thing, but one of them will get their posts removed only. Is it because the mods have their favorites (based on hearts, or how many times the poster reports inapropriate content)? Do some of the posters collaborate/work with the mods? (There's a few select posters that continue to need brownie points or run the board)........IMO

Sorry, but I have trouble taking an opening post like this seriously. I believe its only purpose is to create drama while sitting back and eating popcorn. Best to ignore it entirely now.

This post has been removed by QVC because it is rude

Based on what you "wonder" or think "might be" the case, based on .....?
The ever-accurate "it's not what you say as much as it is how you say it" is still true. A corollary would seem to be "it's not what you said but who doesn't like you."
Some posters just can't get past the idea that it's what people arechoosing to say and how they're choosing to say it that gets posts deleted.

The only thing I seen QVC deletes is nasty posts on QVC hosts, former hosts and vendors. Personally I was tired of reading trash about the hosts and vendors. I come here for information on products albeit specific products. I have saved money and time from some of the postings on this forum.

Your "free speech" is also limited out in the real world as well because you can't say anything libilous or you'll be sued. You can't yell "fire" in a theater..... and standing out in front of QVC and yelling about how unfair they are, how they stomp on your rights while standing on their property will get the police to show up and escort you off their land! You don't have the right to run down their business on land they own. Basically that's what's happening here. They own the boards, they moderate them and they have the right to curtail any speech they want!

So much speculation here. But what stood out to me was "(There's a few select posters that continue to need brownie points or run the board)." How would you or anyone else know that some posters need brownie points? What does that even mean?
Seriously, I don't understand why someone who thinks as you do would stay one minute longer on a board such as the one you describe.

And that's the crux of it.... the moderators don't have to be fair. QVC has directed the moderators to apply QVC rules at the moderator's discretion. If two people are saying pretty much the same thing, one post can come down and one stay up merely because the moderator who reads it, reads into it (perhaps) a little more aggression than the other one. Whatever is the reason, it is QVC's board to do whatever they want however they want to ..... because they own it and don't have to apply fair rules. I personally have not seen any unfairness however.... just some basic cleansing.
The next question would be.... "do I want to stay and participate?". That's where you have free will. I personally find the board SO much better than it was. I didn't find adjusting to the new format hard and have had no problems so far.... I like it here, like the posters I've had the pleasure to talk/discuss with and plan to be around as long as I have the time.
