I use easy pay often but I limit myself to 3 and I don’t purchase anything else until those 3 are paid off. I don’t always have 3 and sometimes I don’t have any for months.

I no longer have Directv so I only go on line when I need something.

I am still paying off a $3000.00+ balance on my Q Card! My bad, I just kept ordering, mostly using easy-pay and now I'm paying for my irresponsibility!! Those EPs add up very quickly!😞

Great feeling, no more EP.   For me I don,t need anything. If I do, full pay.

JMO easy pay is only a problem if you can't pay your bill in full when it comes. I like the idea of using their money for 30 days or so even though it's not really adding much to my bank account with the rates so low. The Q Card is a rip off with the sky high interest rates, so I would never use that card for easy pay if I couldn't pay the bill in full when it came.

@Lipstickdiva - actually, your credit score matters a lot when determining your interest rate. The better your score, the lower the rate. QVC uses a lender that is almost predatory with the rate that they charge.  I got pulled into a Qcard but when I realized the rate I no longer use. I check the default when I buy anything now on the Q to make sure its not the Qcard.

Actually QVC sends me an update of all my easy pays once per month.  I think it's up to us to watch our spending as it can get out of hand if we don't keep any eye.  I always keep a watch on my easy pays so I don't go over my head.  If we do get into trouble, it's not QVC's fault.  Just my opinion.

I stop easy pay a long time ago for the same problem you state. One payment only and then I am done. Makes understanding my credit card bill a whole lot easier. And if I can't afford it I dont buy it.

I used to do one payment too.  Easy pay is VERY good.  It allows me to get what I REALLY want but one can't just get into debt because of smaller payments.  After all, they will add up.  I only buy something I REALLY want, I don't impulse buy nor do I buy on a whim.  I must pick and choose also.  Again, QVC sends me an email letting me know all my easy pays and what I owe, sort of a tap on the shoulder to just remind me where I'm at.  I think it's nice of QVC.  They should not have to baby sit us, after all.  Again, just my opinion.  Not judging.

@PatriciaG, I am not talking about an interest rate on a car loan, mortgage loan, etc.  I am talking about a store credit card.  For the purposes of issuing a QVC credit card, Synchrony Bank isn't going to give someone a CC with a lower interest rate because their credit score is high.  The interest rate is what it is.

It's no higher than many other store credit cards.  It's right there for everyone to see.  It's not a secret.
