QVC is in Pennsylvania and the Governor yesterday afternoon ordered all non essential businesses to close. I'd say QVC is non essential.

With all the very sensible changes QVC has made regarding social isolation, I think I also noticed in the Program Guide that QVC2 this week is all recorded programming.  Except for the 9:00pm Big Deal show, there do not seem to be any Live shows all day on Q2 this week, starting tomorrow.

Other changes on QVC main are no makeup artists in the studio for the hosts.  Hosts are doing their own makeup and hair for a while.

Less models in each show.

Only one host for today's Gourmet Food show.

Good move.

I thought I was imagining things too....although I saw a live program yesterday....I also noticed LOTS of recorded shows on Q2....  and heard Amy talk about doing their own makeup and hair on the main channel on Fashion Night In.....

And did anyone see Rick host a Dooney & Burke Show....

This is a FB Post today from Marie Louise Ludwig, one of the kitchen/food vendors who regularly appears on QVC:

"...by now you probably know that QVC is going to be using tape only on QVC2 effective today. I applaud them for so many measures they are taking to try and keep all of us safe. So far, all in house employees are working from home. All host meetings are done by email or phone. A ton of sanitation and preventatives. Many of us local guests will be standing in for regulars so they do not have to travel."

I actually thought Amy looked better than ever. I thought I heard her say she did her own hair and makeup. JRT said she did hers as well. Note to Q..... They looked so much better!

Awwww I love Jane Treacy...she should start her own web site or something like that cuz her clothes are so beautiful especially her special occasion gowns...I know she didn't get them from QVC....she wears them well

I saw Rick do the Dooney & Burke and he was great ...a fresh approach cuz those bags are stale...they keep showing the same bags from 10 years ago...maybe longer
